newhat Posted January 27, 2013 Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 The lower both players' Life Points are, the fewer cards are needed to kill someone and thus the less relevant card presence becomes. This is why Tremendous Fire is generally superior to Ookazi: Burn rarely takes options away from the opponent, so making those extra options irrelevant (or ending the game faster than they can make Shock Master) is critical. Are FTK/Stall-oriented Decks the only way to make burn playable? I'd like to see a card that made the burn punish the opponent for a certain action, or prize the controller for doing something, then work with that for a theme... meh. I know Gilag used it and he uses "Hand" cards, but it makes no sense why this card is a "Hand" card. From the art, it looks like the Forest literally grabs you and holds you in place while it kills you. Still stupid for it to be a "Hand" card, but I can see where they're coming from kinda.
