In addition, most of the decks that will be tier 1 don't care much about compulse either. Dragons can still discard themselves, prophecies are literally untouched, Merlans would have good plays even if they get their shit bounced, and fire fists can rebound quite easily from it. Very and Stellars look like the only decks that would be hurt by it.
Dementuo
I'll eat my words then if Prophecy ever will win a YCS- after running through lots of Fiendish Chains. Anti-Spell Fragrance is a better side card against Prophecies. Cause you all realize that Spellbook of Wisdom is a card that gets through Chain right

Cute Rotten Yoshika
constellar and evilswarm dont care about compulsory either. it doesnt stop the extra normal summons and their bosses either give immuity (omega) or search it out (ophion). compulsory means very little in this format. Not to mention that Pleiades just chains to Compulsory and shrugs cause it got its effect off, anyways.
Azuh
Incarnate Dragons will also just plow through chain as well considering most of their explosive effects activate in hand and not on the field. On the field they're just beaters. Prophecies will win most first games, but they'll never win the second or third because you'll be able to side against Judgment and without Judgment, its an inconsistent deck. I understand that Mermails and Fists don't care about CED.

At least it's not totally useless against them, unlike CED, so I'm not sure what your argument is. Fiendish is maindecked, so how is arguing that Games 2 and 3 will be a loss an argument against Main Decked Fiendish? And they can get Judgment off TURN 1, consistently. It's not the same as Dark Worlds when everything searches everything constantly.

Yes it stops one from attacking but the dragons can get 5 beaters out in one turn. Its just that people always think Chain will do good in a format but it never does what I believe is that people are just going nuts because the Prophicies have this borked card now, and I believe that sticking to cards like Effect Vielier and Rai Oh will do the job nicely anyway

MST, Heavy, and Blaster. Wow, /1/ extra destruction ability, they'll totally blow it up. Fiendish isn't totally useless agaisnt the deck, unlike CED, and you've yet to offer any proof to the contrary =/ So basically, they got a card that puts the game on a clock, does the same as Future Fusion/Rekindling, and sets up for game... And it's bad. Okay.
Resident Fascist
I'll eat my words then if Prophecy ever will win a YCS. Judgment -> Secrets -> Master -> Library -> search 3 -> Summon Just -> Rip to search is one of the best opening plays in YGO. Idgi OT: Good for binding stuff on summon. Although I still favor Evac just becuase it dodges Xyzs with Protection and gets rid of Synchros without leaving a 2500-3000 wall on the board. ihop
I'll eat my words then if Prophecy ever will win a YCS. Well, they did actually come first in Swiss at Bochum without Judgment. But honestly I'm not sure which is better atm, it depends how much Rabbit/Fire King/Mermail we see compared to how much Fire Fist/Prophecy/Wind-Ups?/Harpies At the moment I honestly don't know which is better.
