They become indestructible in battle and card effects, increase their Levels by the Tokens' combined levels, and use the Tokens as fodder for their effects. The Tokens have to be destroyed in order to beat the main monsters. But they tend to conjure their own tokens and require their own Tokens for their effects (except any Token can be used as the fuel for some of the effects). But this card is meh.
