Resident Fascist
Tribute 1 DARK monster with 2000 or more ATK; check your opponent's hand, all monsters they control, and all cards they draw until the end of their 3rd turn after this card's activation, and destroy all those monsters with 1500 or less ATK. Okay, so this last format we've been seeing this card quite a bit in a variety of decks. Flame Stars with Vorse Raider, Verz can play it, etc. But what about Inzektors? Well, a thought recently hit me that seems to make this card viable in the deck. Centipede + Hornet/Ladybug equipped has 2100ATK, enough to activate this card. We also have Giga-Mantis, who works when on the field himself, or when attached to an Inzektor, and then there is Inzektor Sword, which will even pick up the Inzektor you used as the cost for this card(or any Inzektor, really). What do you get for your activation cost? Well, you obviously get to see their hand for the next 3 turns. That is enough an effect in itself, you get to see all of their options and all of their plays. Then there's the fact because of the inherent way that Inzektors play, your opponent will try and keep onto as many resources as possible. If you activate this against a deck with a bunch of weaker Monsters, you're going to basicially torch their whole hand. It's not as good as it was last format, with most of the big decks relying on bigger Monsters, but this will still torch Atlantean Sniper, Heavy Infantry, Diva, Veiler, Maxx C, Battle Fader, Spellbook Magician and etc. The fact it hits the field means you can clear their board of weaker monsters too and hopefully make a push for game in the 3 turns after you activate this card, if not, you probably have crippled your opponent's hand and field so much that they lose. Thoughts? edit: black made me look like an idiot again, I'm just going to add that this also hits tgu.
Blake
... wait, what actually plays this this format? that was LAST format ._. EEV is the card of the format. This kills... 2 cards in Evilswarm 3-4 cards in Constellar A few cards in Fire Fists, but they can just search and shrug A good number of Merlanteans Incarnates take a hit, but not that much. Prophecy kill you anyway. It's not an awful card, but there's not half as much point in running this as, say, EEV. Inzektors can't exactly pull off the latter, but it doesn't change that this doesn't have a lot of mileage, comparatively, unless I'm missing something. Resident Fascist
... wait, what actually plays this this format? that was LAST format ._. Actually yeah, good point. I did mention that it isn't at it's best right now, but as far as the card in general goes I still think it's pretty good in the deck just cause you can easily activate it, I may be biased because my locals meta is literally crawling with GAM and this is able to hit quite a good number of cards in their deck, although I meant the card is good in general, not it's format though, unfortunately. You could also say this hits your rouge matchups, I guess. That's not really an excuse to run it right now, but I just wanted to bring attention to the fact that the card exists and it's a mad tech that is pretty funny at times. tldr: shard not keeping up with the format. Although, inzektors can actually use EEV, just put a sword and a hornet on a centipede, although that seems really gimmicky and situational, to be honest. I may test it out for the lolz though. Canadian
Until the next set gets released into the TCG, it's still pretty cool.
Wildflame
Wind-Up was the main reason people were using this. Now everyone is thinking up weird ways to main EEV.
Agro
Becomes less relevant in April, insignificant in May. Strictly TCG speaking. Nothin left doin in this thread.
