It's so mediocre, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth anytime I have to run it, and the character who played it is a complete moron. He isn't cool like Yugi, making Dark Magician look cool. He doesn't play one of my favorite archetypes like Judai. He isn't plain fucking awesome like Yusei, he's just a bumbling twit and every time I see this card I think of Yuma, how much ZeXal sucks, how much Yuma is an idiot and how dumb and annoying this card is. I've just... never liked it. Ever. It's evolved forms begin to look even more stupid, unlike Stardust and Neos who only got more awesome. The card itself is meh-ish. 2500 and negates two attacks. That's all you get for your 2 level 4s. I find it to be really mediocre and I'd rather just make Maestroke, Papillo or Pearl 90% of the time. Can't believe it's 2 years old already though. Mysty Posted March 20, 2013 Report Share Posted March 20, 2013 To be fair, the ace cards of the protagonists did get more powerful in sequence each series. • Yugi had Dark Magician, who was outclassed by Blue-Eyes, which had Spellcaster support, but overall that didn't make him good until much later. • Jaden had Elemental HERO Neos, which came with a bunch of friends, and that deck was semi-playable, kinda. • Yusei had Stardust Dragon, and lots of people know how stupid designed it was when it was made. • And then it shows this for Yuma's monster and... it didn't seem especially that great and set the tone that Xyz would be weaker. As for the card itself: Utopia fetish in the anime is rather annoying, but seeing a whole bunch of evolved forms is pretty cool.
