玄魔の王
Why am I doing this? Because this guy... Thank you. Now if only people would see that MoF is in the same boat, an outdated card which is arguably even less powerful than TER. So is he right? Should this card come back to one? Legit discussion guys. Sora1499
You... What have you done... Now before this thread turns into a degenerate flame-fest, ima just get out my 2 cents, k? I feel like this COULD come back to 1 without having an immediate effect on the game. However, SHOULD it come back to 1? No. It rewards you too much for just slapping it face-down and is subject to even greater abuse as the card pool increases. So, in conclusion, it can stay where it is. byak
It rewards you too much for just slapping it face-downThere are a lot of cards that do this that aren't good enough simply because they're too slow, just like this
Althemia
tbh this should come back to 1 because it's not like it'll do anything detrimental to the point where people will want it banned anyway.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
the problem with this card is that it makes limiting spell cards irrelevant, since theyre freely retrievable. like even if it is slow, making a third of the limited list irrelevant (and actually more like half, since limited trap cards are far fewer in number) even in a "slow" way is self defeating. Thank you for taking my "legit discussion" request seriously. I completely agree with you. On paper, there are reasons this card could come back; being a Flip monster makes it slow. However, Spellbook of Fate is a thing, and giving that deck the ability to Recycle its Spellbooks is a horrible idea. It needs to stay banned. No, he's not. He's an idiot. I didn't think he was, but I don't trust my own opinions to be universal.

Superdoopertrooper
I seriously hope that Konami unbans this card soon so that I can take pleasure in personally laughing in each of your faces when you finally realize this card is almost as crap as Tsukuyomi. Heh, I might even bookmark this page.

Yes they are, but this is just one more to add to the list because you can Special Summon it off Judgment Day, then flip it face-down with Fate. Heh, I might even bookmark this page. Konami have made some stupid decisions. Why would I start respecting them now? Just because they unban it, that doesn't mean it should be unbanned. I think it gives access to cards that we don't need access to. Spellbooks would use it, even if it is slow.

WHOA BROKEN Admittedly not the best thing the deck has going for it, but I know they can abuse it and if this comes back somebody will find a way. That's why cards get banned in the first place. byak
Recycling Spellbooks isn't even that good to begin with when you're better off searching them. When they can utilize powerful non spellbook spells, then it would be good, but they'd need to be able to use something really good for that.
