Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Jewel_Flare_Dragon_Stardust 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; once during this turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects And speaking of the Duel Dragons, unlike the Legendary Planets from the GX manga, do you think we'll actually get all the Duel Dragons as real cards? Blake
It's insanely overrated for such a mediocre card.
Althemia
Why does this card have a different name every time I see it? Like seriously, it's actually more ridiculous than the amount of overhype it's getting.
Dementuo
imo it's useable, but no it's not very good. But I sure hope we get all the manga Signer Dragons.
Bringerofcake
Should've had a "becomes Stardust" clause, so decks can run 6.

TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
It's good, but it isn't as OP as other cards. People's viewpoints on what is OP vs what is not is warped due to how long we've been playing with the OP cards.

People's viewpoints on what is OP vs what is not is warped due to how long we've been playing with the OP cards. Um, no. The card in question just is mediocre at best. It's not good, and I'm not comparing it to Incarnate Dragons or anything, I'm comparing it to the original Stardust and other monsters that take similar effort (Crimson Blader, Thought Ruler, Scrap Dragon, etc.) It's not really worth space over other Level 8 Synchros, so it's mediocre. Also, if everything is broken/OP, nothing is broken/OP, so if the gamestate has changed to, say, Ophion being "good", then that means Ophion is good, not broken. You can't deny that power creep changes what's good, or else you'd be claiming that La Jinn was good.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
an incredibly disappointing level 8 synchro. the manga effect would have made it comparable to stardust, even if it was very possibly abusable. to get this instead is saddening. newhat
Dunno what you're going on about; this card is very strong and difficult to get off the field. Rank 3.dek and Rank 4.dek can't do anything to it, and while it's very non-meta it doesn't die easily to Mermails or Fire Fists.

newhat
Not if you can drop several 2550+ monsters in one turn, but it is hard to remove for Decks that rely on an Extra Deck toolbox. Unlike Naturia Beast or Shi En, it doesn't negate, but there's the same "There are a lot of Traps down so maybe both pieces of removal will fail" thing. Cute Rotten Yoshika
but most decks are very capable of hitting you with more than 1 form of removal a turn. that is really not a challenge in the slightest. this thing is underwhelming at best. byak
This card fits in best when you have cards (usually s/ts) that shut your opponent down and prevent them from doing anything. Normally cards like these are vulnerable to MST and the like, but with this you can reduce your opponent's outs to it. Being able to protect Gozen/Rivalry/Soul Drain/DiFi/Macro/Imperial Iron Wall is the reason why this card is good, and this seems to be overlooked. While Stardust can protect half of those efficiently, this card can keep Soul Drain/Difi/Macro alive without sacrificing itself. This could also hold true for monsters such as Banisher, Fossil Dyna, and Vanity's Fiend.
