"Dark Magician" + 1 Level 5 or higher Spellcaster-Type monster
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Fusion Summon cannot be negated. During either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. You must control this face-up card to activate and resolve this effect. Your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards during the Battle Phase. Neither player can banish cards.

Recent Changes:
1 - Effect Change: Modified the Spell Card effect, made it a Mandatory Negation; added "Neither player can banish cards."[hr]It is time for Dark Magician to prove himself the true Ultimate Magician. Supreme Dark Magician brings back from the sands of time the Egyptian God Horus' Spell-crippling effect! Now able to render these new Prophecy monsters feeble by the swing of his staff, the Dark Magician is ready to prove himself Supreme!

Anti-Prophecy Spellcaster is what I was going for. It completely renders Spells useless. I am considering the elimination of the Pitch-Black Warwolf/Mirage Dragon-esque Trap Card immunity, however am also tempted to keep it all the same. I think, for balancing sake, it is that last effect that would have to go.

Tell me what you think. Its is time Dark Magician rose to the top of the Spellcasters again!

While I certainly enjoy anti-Prophecy, negating absolutely any Spell Card while being invulnerable to Battle Phase Traps is quite OP, so to make it fair, I'd say make it auto-negate like LADD does so that Prophecy cannot use this card either. And there's also the fact that he can be revived, I'd make him completely Nomi, "Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways". If you want to hate on the meta Decks, you may as well go all the way and make him also negate the effects of Dragon-Type monsters, which will affect both Elemental Dragons and Evilswarm. Then, you'd have all top decks covered, except Mermails... hm...

Firstly, thank you so much for the review!

I hear what you're saying. I actually think the nature of absolute Spell Negation could be very interesting, actually. It would definitely be a balancing factor as it nullifies your own spells. I'll definitely do that as well as make it fully Nomi too.

Hmm, maybe to deal with the pesky Dragons, perhaps give it a "no banish" effect somewhere?

Saying negate all dragon-type effects is too specific, imo, it just seems ridiculous. The no banish is nice, as long as it affects both players. Onto the actual card, dammit Kyng, I was going to make this. lol, jk. The card is very nice. Any problems I have with have already been brought up by Aix. Stats are good, and if you make the corrections to the effect that Aix has suggested, then everything should be in order. Nice job!

Just what I was thinking, thank you very much for the input! I really appreciate the guidance!

As soon as I get Card 3 posted this will be updated ^^
