Premier Alexander Romanov
Yes. I've noticed this on the OCG tournament reports where they're not winning anything. So if they aren't as successful in Japan as Konami hoped they would be, why is Konami pushing them so much on the international market, and why are they, therefore, such a big deal?Deck Lockdown, Imperial Iron wall, Gozen Match, Vanity's Emptiness, Fossil Dyna, Kycoo, Thunder King, Increasing G.And what would you recommend for the casual player with many different decks who is about to quit DN if he has to play against these Arceusdamned things anymore? Â I believe he was being sarcastic. E-Drags aren't winning as much as they used to now though. I play Verz as my main deck, but I swear Prophecy really are harder to play against than E-Drags. They're a lot harder to efficiently counter imo.

Agro
Wait. So are they failing in the OCG or not? No, they're still the best deck and they're winning virtually everything.

Superdoopertrooper
Wait. So are they failing in the OCG or not? Â Of course not. They'll never "fail" because they're damn powerful, and they are still pretty much the deck to beat. They just aren't getting first place as much as they did when they first came out, now that everyone has re-calibrated their decks for them. Prophecy just summon Jowgen off J-day and set Fate and other backrow, which can be a very tough spot to get out of for any deck. LADD focused build has also fallen out of favor lately because Junon drains LADD and Verz rarely care about that set-up at all. Â And yes, Verz are pretty much the best deck for countering both E-Drags and Prophecy.
Wildflame
Anything that is more easily techable? Â Soul Drain dude, Soul Drain. Â OT: I'd kind of want to see a format with all of the big guys at 2, I wonder how viable the deck would be.

Because other than add in some cards that don't seem all that helpful, that appears to be the only way to counter them. The only deck that's had any success in beating them in the OCG is Prophecy because of Jowgen Control.
evilfusion
They're only Rares? Sweet. they'll be easier to get and less insanely valuable. I wouldn't necessarily WANT to use them, but it'd make buying packs worthwhile now.

Sunshine Jesse
This is hilarious because I have somewhat of a rivalry with a friend of mine where he runs Spellbooks and I run E-Dragons and we try to out-derp each other  his reaction: Jesse Hunter: >every elemental dragon is rare Jesse Hunter: >just rare Shane Jefferson: what Shane Jefferson: just rare? Jesse Hunter: >not secret rare, ultra rare, or whatever Shane Jefferson: .... Shane Jefferson: I bet Judgment Day is secret. Jesse Hunter: Yep Shane Jefferson: AGDHSAHSd Jesse Hunter: Maybe you should try to win the mega millions lottery Jesse Hunter: Then you'll be able to afford half the deck

Azuh
Just like Tenki got the list treatment in March, right Fire Fists are not E-Dragons. They have failed to make a mark cause Mermails have dominated. Sure Fire Fists are really good, but its not as problematic as E-Dragons. I would expect to see some Tenki hate in September as well, probably semi

I would expect to see some Tenki hate in September as well, probably semi  They failed to make a mark because both Wolfberk and Chicken don't exist in the TCG yet. If they did, things would've been much different.  Tenki won't get touched in September, because the deck nearly stops existing now. So do all other builds that run the Tenki engine. It wouldn't even be smart from a business standpoint, which is all Konami care for.
Zauls
It makes sense for them to be rare as they are splashable and everyone will want them, but then that does mean the babies will probably be Super. The deck is already really expensive anyway just cos of the extra. Updating OP cos they are also called Dragon Rulers in TCG (a name change which I personally quite like). However, I thought they should have stuck with the original Calderas, Cascades, Cyclones and Crags cos they sound so cool.
