The fact is that this card, like any other stall/burn type card, makes Yugioh into a one-player game which destroys the fun of the game. All you have to do is stall for a bunch of turns, stalling ≠ playing a two-person game. There are Decks centred around stalling and this card allows Decks like that to function and exist. Of course, it's not a problem any more because its so easy to get rid of, but that doesn't change the fact that it's badly designed, designed to make the game un-fun. Nowadays, your opponent would kill you before you are even able to get 2 counters on this. This would just be a waste of space in your Deck. The point is that this makes the game focused on stalling. Because, if you knew which Decks were doing the best from a tournament standpoint, it would at least tell us whether your meta knowledge is absurdly outdated. See, we unfortunately happen to have an issue where the strongest Decks do an absurd amount of swarm with power cards.
