Rescue Rabbit

This guy. Is he broke? The only thing that's broke is that the artwork breaks my manliness, and I don't give a funk. I mean, look at them feet and that helmet <3<3

Cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. You can banish this face-up card you control; Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters with the same name from your Deck. Destroy them during the End Phase. You can only use the effect of "Rescue Rabbit" once per turn.

I always liked what he does to Normal Monsters, but it also always looked like it has another restriction that should have been added to it.

Pretty much the one that is said above. It'd prevent Leviair from abusing this card, and pretty much anything until a Pot of Avarice for banished cards is printed.

Will it be worth it in competitive decks if it goes to 1?

 

Possibly but you'd only play 3 Vanillas and it'd have to be part of a Deck, not Dino Rabbit. I guess you'd still run it in Fire Fist maybe.

Evilswarm doesn't really care at all about that fact.

And Evilswarm isn't solely based around Rabbit.

 

It's based around Ophion and Kerykeion.

 

And it also allows you to clearly see the difference between someone remotely intelligent and someone bad with Rabbit @2 in Evilswarm.

Bad like 90% of the topping OCG Evilswarm players? Sure bro, whatever you say.

 

Evilswarm CAN play with only 1 Rabbit, but that doesn't mean it should. You might as well run 0 and play Salamandra over Heliotrope.

Good job on not noticing what I meant.

 

They should run 2 Rabbit. I'm saying the existence of 2 Rabbit can be used how good a player they are in-game, especially in conjunction with the trap.

 

EDIT: In fact, the trap is the reason that you would run a limited Rescue Rabbit in Evilswarm.

I've played Macro Rabbit for about half of last format.  It's a nice easy-to-use deck.

 

But while many people say it takes no skill, it DOES take a bit of skill if you open with 4-6 vanillas.  Now your deck's goal is to protect your dinos long enough to get Xyzs out instead of just playing Rabbit.

 

Of course, If you open with Rabbit, TGU, Macro and some backrow, it's pretty much gg.
