Zombie/Gemini

This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.
• This card is (also?) treated as an EARTH Dinosaur-Type monster. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster from their Graveyard to your side of the field in face-up Defense Position. That monster is treated as a Zombie-Type monster.

Wait a minute, is that a dual-typed monster? I thought Konami was trying to avoid doing that, noting how none of the T.G. are dual-type, like they were in the anime.

Goyo's effect on 1700 ATK doesn't seem worth it, especially not for a Gemini.

I've been testing this card out in a Zombie deck focused on summoning il blud. He's easy to get out with ZM. Since he's a gemini, I can equip him with Supervise and when he's destroyed, I can either get him or an Il Blud back, then start synchro/xyz summoning. I with with this guy against a madolche deck. They ragequit then I used him to take their set monster, then overlayed for shock with ZM. He's great in a zombie deck. He's a zombie in the grave which means il blud, mezuki all work on him.

He's not a bad card, the cost of needing to be gemini summoned isn't that bad at all, especially when you're dealing with a deck that special summons as much as a Zombie deck. I also run two AoD, boosting him to 2700 atk. He let's me overlay/synch with free mosnters.

I originally replaced him with Paladin of the Cursed Dragon. I was worried about his low atk but soon learned I didn't really care. I generally tribute the opponent's monster to get axe of despair back and then use good ol' zombies to bring him back, then normal, then axe of despair all over again.
