Aix
Was Konami thinking ahead when they made this? Probably not thinking of Xyz, if that's what you mean. They were more made for this:
VictorSempra
Batterymen in general are kinda under-rated IMO. I've played a few at locals, and they're surprisingly quick. Think of the shenanigans they could do with Xyz now as well.
Blake
It's the best card in Hunders because it synergizes so well with the deck, between Sea Horse, Ma and Pa, K/Chamenleon, Recycling Batteries, and more, not to mention the ease of which it enables 3 Mat R4s. It really makes Hunders work as AAA.dek.
玄魔の王
The card isn't bad design, it just works really well with support that came out long after and wasn't even designed for it.
Airride
I still want to make silly decks based around this. Making Level 9 and 10 Synchros out of nowhere? Yes please. But yeah, this is one of the best cards for 1-card Xyz, and with the Hunders, you can make Shock Masters almost literally out of thin air. It would be almost broken, but the Meta is so shitty that it's only good if you can pull it off turn 1 and correctly guess what they're playing with Shock Master. Also, Recycling Batteries. INFINITE FUN~
