Eury
was talking with Black and Koko-puff earlier today and we got to talking about cards that might be un-banned come September. This card came up and it is actually likely. If Prophecies get hit as hard as we think they will, they could un-ban Faith to give Prophecy that slight boost from all they've lost. FLIP: Target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand. discuss
Zazubat
Would Spellbooks even consider this card anyway? I think it's slow enough to bring back, but at the same time, I still dislike it for me wanted it to stay.
Dementuo
why would you ever set this over summoning a magician/kycoo
newhat
I don't know. This card is slow and unreliable, but like Morphing Jar it can be abused.
玄魔の王
Honestly, this thing is a great example of how the game has changed. Once it was a staple, now it's too slow too be a threat.
evilfusion
Magician of Faith being unbanned has been discussed as a possibility for every format in the last year and a half or so. Even though it's not nearly as amazing as before, Spell Retrieval is an EXTREMELY dangerous mechanic because of how many Spells easily and immediately shift the tide in a player's favor, such as Heavy Storm and Monster Reborn. Spell Reproduction and Magical Stones require 2 discards, and Dark Magician of Chaos and this are banned and they're free. I don't think it'd be the most utterly broken card to see back, but that doesn't mean it should come back. It's one of those cards that it's just safer to keep on the banlist than to risk its return. Then again, BLS was totally the same way, and for some reason, that card hasn't been re-banned.
玄魔の王
It may or may not have something to do with the game's pace shift. BLS came back and barely made an impact.

Oh it definitely made an impact when it was unbanned, but then crap more broken than BLS came out, and BLS doesn't mesh with those decks.
Superdoopertrooper
Having this and Tsukuyomi is asking for trouble. ITT: It's 2005. Even back then that interaction didn't even happen often.
Expelsword
You lost your right to an opinion several terrible ideas ago, not the least of which was unbanned CED.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
My personal thoughts on this card: Monster Reborn, which in it's own right should be banned anyway, should go, along with Dark Hole, before this thing can come back. It's not so much the fact that you can grab Spells you've already used, it's the fact that you can grab DANGEROUS spells you've already used. Aerion Brightflame
You lost your right to an opinion several terrible ideas ago, not the least of which was unbanned CED. Except Troopers opinion is right more often than people give him credit for. He just said all of the ones we disagree with before any of the others, so people associate all of them with being terrible. Hell, I'm sure everyone in the forum will have had one disastrous opinion on something, and we don't devalue them for that. OT: I'm for bringing it back. Recycling spells is a powerful mechanic, and whilst you can even argue that one of the power spells should be banned, and that one of them has become terrible, I'm not going to argue that. It can come back because even at a healthy point, the game is arguably quick enough that Magician becomes weak in comparison, nor will it lead to anything degenerate. Well probably. I was addressing the fact that Expelsword told him that he isn't entitled to an opinion because he disagrees with them, but yeah, Trooper is right more often than not, and he actually can argue a point better than most people on this site. I actually enjoy reading his arguments, even if I don't agree with them some times.

I agree with this. OT: It could come back given the meta is so fast right now tht brining it back might not be a problem, but I would rather it stay banned, just in case. It's not so much the fact that you can grab Spells you've already used, it's the fact that you can grab DANGEROUS spells you've already used. But the actual problem is that its getting to the stage where Dark Hole isn't even Main'd in the Deck anymore. Torrential these days is a much better card due to removing threats and potential setups and we have that card at 2! Not like I'm saying that Dark Hole should be higher than than 1, but I don't really think Faith into Dark Hole isn't such a good play as what it was in the past
