Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Anyone think Dark Prophecies will stand anything of a chance? Possibly Za Warudo?
Sora1499
Anyone think Dark Prophecies will stand anything of a chance? Possibly Za Warudo? Both builds are actually quite competent in testing, especially since Reaper of Prophecy is essentially immortal by grabbing Spellbook of Life. Cute Rotten Yoshika
reaper has norito which is a powerful option but sadly this format isnt gonna have much in terns for it to negate. its also harder to resolve reaper or destroyer without judgment to dump stuff. and za arudo is p much always untenable. its flashy as hell but actually being able to get it off isnt feasible by any means. you need monsters to pull it from the deck, but the more monsters you run the less spellbooks youll have to add/reveal to pop. Maeriberii Haan
Only time ZA WARUDO was worth it is when JUdgment is available, since it can realiably set it up. Dark Prophecy should be good, wonder why people rarely used the deck.
Dog King
Dragon Rulers haven't got a chance of topping, having no babies makes them mega inconsistant.
No they arent mega inconsistent And they do have a chance of topping, but not as much as this format. Cute Rotten Yoshika
reaper builds have the most viability of any but the issue is you cant reliably use your out card (fate) or else reaper is dead. and since you need spellbooks with different names to get the most of it you also cant, for example, search the same cards every turn or else you arent increasing the number of different books in grave. 5 books is a bit harder than it sounds, especially with no judgment. star hall, tower, and life tend to stay on the field since theres not much of a benefit to destroying them. fate removes them from grave unless you banish doubles. your best bets will have to be secrets power wisdom master eternity for 5. thats tricky. Maeriberii Haan
So, aside from the already discussed decks, how well do you guys think Machine decks and Constellars will perform in the next metagame?
Rawkobo
Constellars will be fine because they're highly resilient against the threat of 3 Mirror force and most other things. Y'know, with Pleiades and Omega being good cards. Gadgets and MPBs are things to look into, but not necessarily guarantee. I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I'm going to modify my Gadgets build for September beyond the Redox/Machina dips and a few S/T swaps, as well as a look into what's necessary in the extra deck. MPBs are probably going to do alright.
Cute Rotten Yoshika
Gadgets have a pretty good chance. I'd say if anything the Machina build is probably not the better one, as compared to just straight up Rank 4. Gadgets generate a lot of advantage but Fortress and Redox still eat up a lot. I honestly don't feel the Rank 7 plays are worth it, but that's just me.
Rawkobo
Actually, I played Tin Gadgets splashing 2 Fortress/1 Gearframe for quite a while and had generally good results. Deck's fun to play, even if it's fairly inconsistent (which made me play more consistency draw spells to make up for that). I feel like Redox and Fortress, while good, screw around with what I feel like is the main purpose of Gadgets. Then again, it varies from player to player. Aerion Brightflame
I've been testing a Gadget build with essentially all the level 4 spam I can (So mained 3 Tinplate, 3 Kage, and some Masked Chameleon's), and have been testing Mained DNA surgery. And it's worked pretty well in all honesty. Especially since that gives me Evolzar access, and screws out two of the expected top decks of the format (Bujin and Fists). So it could be a decent roguish deck in the format.
Strider Tigerwolf
Ima go divekick the format with Gladiators as a little more flexible now with 2 besties. Meh. My list though: DarkBooks ChickenFist (with plants) Merlanteans KEYvilswarm Bujin Lower tier decks TempestDragunity Blue-Eyes Blackwings Machina-Gadget Karakuri Gladiators
Maeriberii Haan
Hmm, after the rumored tenki hit, i don't really think Bujin will be able to be a T1 deck until SHSP. My experience playing against them is when they didn't get Yamato, they lose hard. Not to mention if they get it, Trishula is an ever-present threat for it. It'll be a quite strong T2 though, but not a T1 material.

Blake
Mermails Dragons, especially with plants 3-Axis is likely Spellbooks are a possibility Infernity will at the very least be a sleeper deck Constellar and Gadgets may be sleeper Plasma Circle seems decent, but will probably not be tier. Hieratics might be rouge, because they're now much, much more versatile between Galaxy Serpent and Labradorite (Post-SHSP in the TCG) Bujin don't do anything and aren't going to be good as they are in SHSP. Maybe post-Legacy of the Valiant, but even then, only turtle and crane are truly worth anything, Relic-wise. lolmadolche aren't gonna be even close to tier. They still don't do anything. I still think Evilswarm have a chance But Evilswarm fucking suck. The only things going for them are Kerykeion, Ophion being a floater, an Key Beetle, while almost every member sucks balls. Also, anyone that thinks Dragons are dead has their head up their ass. They were decent to good before the babies were revealed, they just became insane with the babies. From now on, they can do stupid stuff with plants and be more like they were initially, which is really derpy at times.
