This is seriously the best thing I have ever seen. This guy has everything stolen from him, cards, binders, mats, everything. And the whole community gets together to get him his favorite deck back and keep him in the game because they don't want to see him leave cause some piece of shit stole his stuff (dat run on sentence). 

 

If only every community could be like this. To give this thread a secondary topic, discuss what you think makes the Yu-Gi-Oh! community good, and what can be done to make it better.

If it required the tuner rather than the monster, in the case of a lot of synchros, then it would be a lot easier to pull off. Even easy to activate still.

Is this thing any good in Gusto?  I never got the chance to test it.  Or play Gustos for that matter.

So this card can't be generic, but we have Librarian that is. This needs Gustos to work its effect and without the stupid summoning restriction we would have a decent 2200 WIND beater, even though that's already outclassed

As far as Gustos go- Gulldos is quite effective.
I mean, aside from the slightly low ATK(as far as bosses go), it keeps your Gustos going by recycling them and also destroying the Opponent's monsters, so its nice that Gustos have a bit of field control, in addition to their regular shenanigans.
Also you can play this through Junk Synchron.

Anyway, that Reddit thing reminded me of Spore's community. Dunno' why.

I've never made effective use of any Gusto Synchro beyond Sphreeze, but this is a legitimate thing for being able to remove threats.

As an archetype, it's not that they don't do their job...it's just that they don't really do that much of anything except stall to all hell until they set something up (whatever that something is.)

Yeah, I actually did my friend a favor when his briefcase of M:TG stuff got stolen by selling him my collection for dirt cheap. I mean...yeah, I didn't give it away, but I'd say he got his money's worth when I only needed like $40.

"Exception that proves the rule" is hardly sound logic. If you wanted you could label any data contradictory to your thesis as "exception" and any proposed rule would Be True.

That said, at least Ways exist to make it with Junk Synchron.

It's more of the case of Emeral being the only one where you don't judge its strengths on its ability to OTK, which is how the rest of the archetype is judged.

You're missing the point. Emeral is good even when it's not OTKing.

Mainly because it's splashable, unlike 95% of other Gusto cards. 

 

Yeah, with Psychics, Gustos do cute things, but it's not really enough when you could even do the whole thing better with Grandsoil.
