Activate by selecting 1 face-up Attack Position monster. That monster cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects, or be destroyed by battle. It cannot attack your opponent directly. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is removed from the field, destroy this card.

 

So apparently this has become a money card this format racking up around £20 ~ £30 on ebay for just one copy of it due to the whole Spell and Trap Orientated format.

I remember when EXVC first came out, and I would pull copy after copy of this. I ended up with about twelve.

It's been used in and out of various competitive decks, and it's stuck its nose into certain metas, although I don't think it's consistently viable. Depends on the format, really.

I had this in a deck centered around Heart-Earth Dragon. Used this on Heart-earth once it ran out of units, and then MSTed Safe Zone

The fact Master Key Beetle adores this card might be a factor in it being so pricey.

Not to mention that it combines very nicely with Pleiades, and Constellars are a big deck this format. Use Pleiades to bounce Safe, chain Safe to target opponent's monster, it blows up when Zone leaves.

Its biggest selling point has to be the bouncing though. Dewloren, Mist Valley Falcon and as previously stated Pleiades can make both this and Fiendish Chain such a pain in the ass.
