So yeah, I haven't gone on here for a while because GIMP on my PC was being stupid + I have soooo much shit to do for school.

Not sure if this card is OP or not. So tell me what you think!

Oh an by the way, I 'm EXTREMELY happy about the new card maker. Zextra has such great talent at these:)

SYNCHRO MACHINE

LIGHT

* * * *

[Machine / Effect]

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can reveal 1 Level 8 or lower Synchro Monster in your Extra Deck: This card's name is treated the revealed monster's name and gains DEF equal to it's ATK and gains ATK equal to half the selected monster's ATK. During the turn this card was Normal Summoned: You can switch this card to Defense Position. Once per turn, you can banish the revealed monster: This card gains that monster's effect and Level until the End Phase. You can only control 1 Face-up "Synchro Machine."

ATK/    0   DEF/    0

(Thanks to Armadilloz for the OCG fix)

It's an easy Shooting Star maker. It can also be considered support for any Rank, but even if it doesn't really take advantage to do, taking Extra Deck space would make me think about using it.

I don't think it's out of balance.

Some details are a little bit awkward, like having a once per turn effect for a target you can only select once, but it's still understandable as a whole.

Yeah, didn't revise the effect:/

But yeah, I kind of wanted this card to be strong because, like you said, it takes space away from your Extra Deck + people use more Xyz than Syncs now, (well, except for Dragunities and some other decks).

Thank for the review:)

Slight OCG fix:

Or something along those lines; I kinda' sorta' cleaned it up a bit for you.
Mostly, you don't need to mention that you also Target the revealed monster, since revealing it basically does the same thing, as it's still a way of noting what card X is doing to card Y.

Anyway, OCG aside... I could see this being potentially splashable, due to the fact it could copy things like Jeweled Red Dragon, Dark End, etc, and give you access to things like that pretty quickly, and in the long run could lead to some potentially abusive plays. Then again, this also requires a bit of Extra Deck dedication, since if you copy something from your Extra Deck, that just leads to 1 less card you could potentially play later on. So I guess it's rather gimmicky in that respect, while also being interesting as far as card design goes.

tl;dr: I like it.

It's an easy Shooting Star maker.

Shooting Star is a 10. This only copies 8 or lower O,o

I meant that it saves you from Synchro Summoning for Stardust before going for Shooting.

Which does not sound like the most broken of plays either so I'm really not mentioning it like a broken use or anything. Hehe.

Not to seem skimpy from a short post, and I'm fully aware of the advanced clause, but....
Shooting Star needs a Synchro monster, and a Synchro-Tuner. This card is still just an effect monster, and not a legitimate Synchro monster.
Even if it treats itself as X, it's still not a full fledged Synchro monster, which is the deciding factor O,o
That aside, it still has some use to it.

Actually, Shooting Quasar needs all Synchros.

Shooting Star just needs something named Stardust + the Synchro Tuner.

It breaks the difficulty of Accel Synchro from the show right there xP

Also, last time I saw, I thought the Advanced clause only applied within the first comment. Then anything else on topic was valid.
