So, between this, C101, and C104, Limited Rum is finally a very solid card... That still cannot be searched.

Regardless, this card is awesomeness with Heraldic Beast Unicorn, due to being able to revive Coat of Arms or Genom-Heriter, both which can be Ranked-Up into C69. Which is beautiful.

It always was solid. Almost all the Rank-Up Number Cs were Rank 5s, and half of them didn't require their past form specifically to be cool in some way.

 

C39 - Victory has Ancient Gear clause and a 2800 body.

C104 was an MST on Summon, which missed the timing if Numeron Force was used with 1+ face-up cards on the Field, or if Barian's Force could steal an Xyz Material, on a 3000 body.

C105 had a 1/2 ATK Flame Wingman effect on 2800 body.

C106 only needed a Number as Material.

 

And C101 just needs 101 in the Graveyard, not specifically as Material, which makes Limited Force awesomeness incarnate.

 

And since 102 is a Rank 4 and 103 is a Rank 4, Limited Barian's Force is now unbelievably ironic. It's got the fewest Limitations.

If released as is, this is probably not the complete lore. I expect it to have the line "You can only use this effect of "Number C69" once per turn", the same as written on Coat of Arms and Genom-Heriter.

 

I also suspect it'd only work on Xyz monsters, the same way Coat of Arms and Genom-Heriter does.

 

Also, if that's the official name, I totally called it.

I could see it working on Special Summoned monsters in general (ie Giant Grinder), but you're most likely right. Even so that's nasty.

Oh, I just meant that the OP didn't say if it was confirmed for release, or in what pack/promo/whatever. So it COULD be about the anime card (without the tag), which would make me sad because I WANT THIS.

Either the OP is totally inaccurate to the RL effect, or this card is ridiculously broken. Even the anime only gave the ATK for the turn.

Well it was updated since the OP was posted, so I wouldn't blame him.  This is what they have currently, and it also only targets Xyz Monsters now, which is more realistic:

That first effect is broken beyond belief. I don't care about the detach effect at all now.

...That effect is actually kind of stupid.

 

So it's a 4000 beater Summonable by ANY Rank 4 if you use Limited Barian's Force, or can use regular Barian/Numeron if you use Number 8/69, both easily accessible in Heraldic Beasts, which can ALSO run Rank-Up Magics pretty easily.

 

If the opponent attacks anything with anything, you costlessly nuke their entire field. This requires 0 set-up or dedication beyond Summoning this card. Which again, is absurdly easy because Limited Barian's Force.

 

And if it has Number 69 as a Material, you can detach a Material and copy an Xyz's name and effect, and boost its already massive 4000 ATK even higher. I don't like this effect because you have to detach AGAIN to actually use the majority of the effects you'd steal. Also, the copying of name and effect seems permanent, as does the ATK bonus.

 

But how does it work, exactly? Number 8 says "this card's effect becomes the target's original effect". Coat of Arms says "this card's original effect becomes the effect of that target". Both of them copy the name, and both of them lose those effects at the end of the turn. The only differences in functionality is all copies of Coat of Arms can only steal effects once, but negate Xyz upon Summon, whereas Genom-Heriter's ONLY effect is to steal effects (and modify ATK).

 

Either way, that first line has to be wrong somehow. Using Number Wall with Number monsters is already hilarious. Now using Number Wall gives you a 4000 beater that nukes your opponent's Field if they try to attack anything (their Number won't die, but I'm betting that's not what the issue will be here).

To be fair, the OP doesn't say it's IRL/unconfirmed. The updated info is a few comments above this, and not even by you, so using only the info in the first post, it is ambiguous.

A lot of the Chaos Numbers, especially the Rank-Up ones, have kept something extremely similar to their anime effects, some even getting subtly better effects that weren't featured in the episodes.

 

If this is C69's IRL effect, it's ridiculous. At least in the show, C69 was formed from one of the most brokenly powerful Numbers (whose IRL version got badly nerfed). It makes C69's lack of a major nerf almost disgustingly powerful in comparison.

 

Especially because of Limited Barian's Force.

Yes, I'm looking at this version isn't nerfed at all besides having to detach a material for the first effect I believe. (I'll check the eff again) But even so, this will be nerfed if it comes out at all. (I can see possibilities of this not coming out)

So far, and this is not 100% confirmed, it's said to be coming out in Legacy of the Valiant.  Also maybe I'm missing something, but why are people acting like this is some broken win-button?  The worst part about the card is its enormously high ATK, especially after being Summoned off a Lavalval Chain using Limited Barian's Force, but it's not invincible or has any kind of immunity.  I actually put this in the same class as C104.

It reminded me of C104 too. When this is out you just..., don't attack. 4K is just ridiculous though, and the second effect can be quite mean in some situations.
