Ritual Card, why not (Sunlight Spirit Goddess)

Maybe generic, just came to the idea of a ritual card, this is what came out.
Must first be Ritual Summoned with "End of all Hope". If this card is Ritual Summoned: Destroy all other cards on the field. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. If this card attacks: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls. If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can banish 1 DARK-Monster from either players Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during the End Phase.
I was questioning the effect while misjudging it's ATK as 2400, and now that I see it's 4200, it's a big no.

Destroying the field but staying without attacking is fine, and Rituals can have their own Black Rose-like card there.

However, do not combine it with such ridiculous ATK. There's many decks that can't even reach 3000.

The reviving effect is just harsh. It forced your opponent to try to destroy it by battle, which as I said, most decks can't, and if your opponent uses a DARK deck, they are basically screwed because for some reason they get to pay the cost.

I'm gonna guess your Ritual Spell doesn't need to be here because it's a Ritual with the usual effect of most Ritual Spells (and because this section only allows for 1 card per thread). Regardless, I have a complain here. The name "Sunlight Spirit Goddess" denotes something good. The sun has always been adored as a good throughout time because it's what sustains life on Earth. Also, in the context of good vs evil, Gods are generally beneficial to society that worships them in some way. With that said, why is the Ritual Spell called "End of all Hope"? It seems out of place for a goddess based on the sun. Yes the sun will one day destroy the Earth, but it'll be when it's in it's death bed anyways, and exactly BECAUSE it's in it's death bed. So even if the flavor of the card is following that last bit, she doesn't go out along with the field, so it wouldn't be completely accurate flavor.

Either way, I don't think that the evil-sounding name of the Ritual Spell fits.

Remember that Rituals can always appear with Advanced Ritual Art, making this a very unfair card.

Though, I DO like the concept.

Hope any of this helps.

She actually is Lv10, ya know? *-*

Ty for the feedback, i will add the rework soon. (:

@Akari: You are basically right, i will change the ATK to like 2800 or so. But about the name of the Ritual Card - this card should come to play when there is no more hope left, as it can wipe the field and therefore bring new chances to you. The name should not sound evil, but more like a last resort. (;

-edit: Rework added, balanced so far?

I didn't see the original version, but its stats are much more balanced than they were described in earlier posts (normally 4200 would be okay, provided it didn't have an effect like this card does)

Anyway, its BRD-like effect might be a bit much but not being able to attack that turn balances it out enough. Its revival effect does merit it some use in Chaos decks, though limited to being destroyed by an effect (I can't see this card getting killed by battle with its 3100 ATK; unless its Battle Position is switched; but that's not related). You might want to change its DARK removal effect to affect your own Graveyard only. (Akari already mentioned why the way you got it now is OPed; since if your opponent plays DARK monsters, they essentially pay for this card to revive itself)

Other than that, it's good.

I shouldn't get too picky on the name but personally, when I hear the name "End of All Hope", I think of "all hope is lost", of "Despair" if you will, of the end of it all.

Not something that denotes the rebirth/renewal/revival of hope upon drawing it.

Ironically though, if it's just a classic-like Ritual Spell, drawing it on certain occasions might cause it to be a dead draw and 1 less card you can use in your resources until you get the monster too, which in top-decking mode could cause the loss of hope upon drawing it. Haha.

I'd say if it's ATK is 2800 and it only banished a DARK from your own Graveyard, it's all good.

Though, since you went for 3100, I actually think that even just 1 DARK from your Graveyard might be a little bit too cheap.

I have to say, it's better than before, even if it's still not perfect.

I think the theme with the ritual spell is pretty much there is nothing left to fight the darkness so she comes to do it when all hope ot lost.
