You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal 4. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; banish monsters from your Graveyard whose total Levels equal 4, then Special Summon 1 "Paladin of Photon Dragon" from your hand. evilfusion Posted November 2, 2013 Report Share Posted November 2, 2013 I'm not sure why the Ritual Spell warranted its own topic, when the Ritual Monster is already being discussed. A Ritual Spell's value still depends on the Monster you Summon with it. In any case, Paladin and the Ritual aren't needed in the evilfusion.dek type build (and are more likely to hurt the Deck than help), but they definitely deserve a build of their own. Paladin's draw effect helps Photons with their card advantage issue, and Ritual being able to be used from the Graveyard, while using Graveyard monsters as the Tribute, continue to help due to how Rituals are costly investments and Photon Decks already have investment issues. Paladin being Level 4 means it's searchable with Photon Lizard, which is a major perk. Add cards like Photon Trident, and Paladin could become an advantage generator/equalizer. Sleepy Posted November 3, 2013 Report Share Posted November 3, 2013 Any other Ritual Monster, you'd just say something along the lines of "Oh crap, I just lost" if you were in top-decking mode. This one can either be a quick Airknight Parshath or a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. That alone makes it pretty nice. Summoner Monk also now has a Spell Card that actually likes being discarded.
