~British Soul~
Target 1 monster on the field; during this turn, that monster cannot be Tributed, or be used as a Synchro or Xyz Material for a Summon. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Duston" monster from your Deck to your hand. Discuss. evilfusion
So it puts a Duston clause on any monster, and if it's destroyed while Set, it searches for a Duston. Hmm...it's a nice option, but what Duston cards like this need are something that prevents the monster from attacking or using its effect(s). Simply sealing a potentially powerful monster from being Tributed or used as Synchro/Xyz Material is VERY useful, but considering the Duston monsters themselves are supposed to lockdown the opponent with themselves, it seems sort of pointless to do it to other monsters without in some way hindering that card's normal usage. It's better than Duston Mop, at least.
Maeriberii Haan
Funny side card against synchro decks. Target their tuners and suddenly their option got limited. Use it against Monarchs to their treeborn, on the beginning of a Hieratic push attempt, or to screw strategies that relied on Xyzing. Granted, other cards might be able to do the job better, but this card is quite good.
Trebuchet MS
I wait for LVAL just to see what White Duston is, and get disappointed that it's a Normal Monster. At the very least, the support this card gives in throwing more wrenches into the opponent's plans will definitely make up for that disappointment. newhat
I appreciate this card because it means shorter turns. Sucks that you can't blow it up yourself though.
Blake
I feel it has potential as a generic card, but I'm unsure of if and when that potential will come to fruition.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
It's an inferior book of moon, imo.
Blake
It's an inferior book of moon, imo. Inferiority to a limited card's a pretty bad argument when it can serve as extra copies..
