I assume it'll be pretty similar to the anime, but without the ability to summon CXyz and possibly a Type restriction to stop it from being simply a better Limited (there would be no purpose to Limited if Argent could Rank-Up regardless of Type).

The best compromise I see is making it a Limited Barian's Force for Rank 5 or higher Xyz.  Alternatively, it can be a Limited for Machine-Type Xyz only.

 

If it's un-nerfed, it'll make Limited obsolete.

If I had to choose from those, I'd go for Rank 5+.

It'd actually be really cool if Argent Chaos was a RUM for Rank 5+, but ONLY if it can work with CXyz, too.

 

CXyz need support outside of regular Barian's Force. Even if the flavor of Barian's Force is supposed to be restricted to CXyz and Number Cs, it's annoying to keep making Rank-Up Magics that are outclassed by Limited Force. Astral Force is pretty awesome, though.

 

Also, there's the possibility that if Tron does return to the anime, he might have Argent Chaos Force, in which case, being only for Rank 5+ wouldn't work for Argent, since Tron only uses Rank 4s.

 

Has LVAL included a Rank-Up Magic? I thought there was a theory that each Set that included Rank-Up Xyz also made a new RUM so that Sneak Peeks could play those cards. I know LVAL has Astral Force (useless in that Set) and Numeron Fall (...also useless in that Set). But that means C101 is also useless, lol.

Yeah, it is a shame that the set doesn't have a Xyz that can make the RUM and RDM useable in sneak peeks, oh well.

As far as I know, Astral Force and Numeron Fall are the only "Rank-Up/Down" cards in the set.

 

Numeron Fall lets you bring out Utopia Roots, which is in the same set.  Astral Force lets you Rank Up Albverdich to the new 3-material Rank 6, which is also in the same set.  Unfortunately, neither base Xyz is in that same set.

I was actually thinking that that would be the case.  In fact the Organization says this about it:

I'm sorry for my previous dick-ass post then, but it could've been worse. Though with the point you made in your previous post, I can re-word your post answering the question:

It appears the "Atlandis only" effect of making the opponent's LP 100 also involves sending all the equipped monsters to the Graveyard as a cost.

That's more balanced, but still. Making the Equip effect during your main phase is pretty sweet tbh.

So you need to have Number monsters equipped to activate the LP to 100 effect? Well that would be a balancing factor in the extreme, unless you have a way of equipping your own Numbers to it. Also, the no damage effect applies to both effects, as I believe someone pointed out earlier. That said, this is still a ridiculously good card for a 3-mat Rank 7. Cause, y'know, Dragons.

 

So it's non-destruction removal with the promise of 4300 body at least. The other effect seems a bit far off competitively, but it could be fun for casual games and that one moment of sheer absurdity when it can actually be resolved.

 

In short, I LIKE IT.

That said, this is still a ridiculously good card for a 3-mat Rank 7. Cause, y'know, Dragons.

Whats even scarier, is the fact this card might as well be another Big Eye.
I mean, yes, you need 3 Materials for it, but you can basically steal a monster once-per-turn and still run over things with it.
