this card is too slow to summon and it's destruction effect usually backfires, compared to it's sister "Fallen Angel of Roses" this card is pathetic

You can attempt to wreck their field setup methinks. OT: Pineapple has a better daddy named Bamboo Shoot. And his uncle Gigaplant sorely outclasses this.

 

The only thing that happens between the End Phase and the Standby Phase is you get to draw a card which gives you more knowledge in the case of a tie.  I'd rather it this way.

That makes it even more relevant.  It becomes a question of control: who controls what monsters are on the field?  Well whoever just played has that control.  Since the way its worded right now lets your opponent play last before it activates it puts them in control.
