It may be situational as ****, but that's more because we don't have many good generic Counter Traps, and the best themed ones aren't enough of a threat to warrant a specific counter to them. Counter Fairies are the only deck that makes extensive use of Counter Traps, so this may be good against them, but I'm not sure. Also, even though Solemn Judgment, Dark Bribe and Seven Tools can do this card's job, they can be used against other Traps as well, which means that this can be used to deal specifically with any Counter Traps, leaving its better counterparts free to deal with other Traps. A Level 5 that needs to be Tribute Summoned for its effect, and have a specific Equip Spell face-up on the field to be Tribute Summoned, is totally legit. Contenders need to follow these guidelines - Inherent Super Minus (pot of Generosity is a -3 for no reason, Two pronged is a -2) - Cards that can't even be used due to banlist restrictions (Neo Bubbleman, metamorphosis is banned) - Ludicrous summoning conditions, but lacks the power to add it up (Larvae Moth, lol) You guys are free to inquire about more guidelines though, as i know i missed some. Northern Sage Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 I don't remember the name, but there's a really obscure Level 4 monster with 2k ATK or more that had such a dumb restriction there couldn't exist a use for it that wasn't covered by the other monsters in that scope (Leo, Flash Assailant, the Normal Monsters, etc) Then there's also the bottom of the design barrel, a card by the name of Giant Turtle who Feeds on Flames. The typing is horrible in every aspect, and the lore has to be seen to be believed. Larvae Moth at least remains technically functional in its own "deck". Gate Guardian goes into the same category. Elma is actually usable in the deck (Book of the Sun) Thyrce is the worst because even though because shit stats, requires a tribute for a meh effect, and is a guardian. It's a whol league of bad.
