2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can send 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand or face-up from your Monster Card Zone to the Graveyard; look at a number of cards from the top of your Deck, equal to the Level of the sent monster, then place them on the top of the Deck in any order. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck, send any excavated Plant-Type monsters to the Graveyard, also place the other cards on the bottom of your Deck in any order, and if you do, return a number of cards on the field to the hand, except this card, up to the number of monsters sent to the Graveyard this way.

Let's hope that the level 7s aren't TOO ridiculous, cuz this thing is busted as shit.

Can Sylvans NOT run Dragon Rulers? Am I wrong for thinking they can run at least 2 of them? COME ON THIS IS BS DUDE

Annnndd....I just looked at one of the Level 7's. Yeah....I quit. I'll be back after ZEXAL is finished, cya.

Also, seems like Sylvan are ALSO doing a Naturia, since this bird is Suzaku, and Alsei is Byakko.

Oreia is also mostly red, and Alsei is white. So they actually are sticking to it more so then Naturias did.
Which is a little weird, since this monster is DARK. Though, it's likely because it contrasts Alsei's LIGHT. Or something like that.

Oh look, Slyvans got their own JD.

... except this is even harder to counter, since you can't stop it with Starlight Road/Stardust, force them to use the effect more than once to get rid of a protected Draggosack, and doesn't require a minimum Graveyard to summon, and this is a deck with easily summonable level 7s that can be mimicked by Copy Plant.

I will be greatly surprised if Sylvans aren't tier one.

*reads effect VERY carefully, since Sylvans have tricky text*

Holy sh-...

So, like the other Sylvan Xyz, it doesn't cost an Overlay for the first effect (not that I ever forgot this...nope), but instead costs a Plant from the hand or Field. You then rearrange the top cards of your Deck, equal to the sent Plant's Level.

THEN you can detach and excavate 3. And as typical of Sylvans, send the Plants to the Graveyard, thus Triggering all the Sylvan effects among them. And then return any cards on the Field to the hand up to the number of monsters sent by that effect.

Good god.

Welp, Sylvans just got themselves their own powerhouse Brionac. It's absolutely crazy in terms of setting up an ideal excavating play, while also being able to recycle cards like Mount Sylvania/Miracle Fertilizer/CotH AND being a powerhouse that can at least intimidate several monsters. There will be a more ideal use of Blaster the Dragon Ruler and Fallen Angel of Roses, including the new Sylvan, but looking at how versatile plants have made Sylvans now, and the amount of great support they are getting, it seems Sylvans may become something more than a weak deck to a rouge deck or beyond.
Cripes, this is a pretty nasty card in and of itself. I was hoping that Sylvans would get some more support, since I've always liked Plants, but this is just silly. With Sagequoia coming out in the same and Semi-limited Lonefire Blossom being a thing, this could very well lead to nasty consequences.
Resolving this thing is preeeeetty much Sylvan's new wincon.
