Normal Trap Card Quick-Play Spell Card

Effect: Target 1 of your banished cards: Return it to your Graveyard.

 

(Edit: I removed the 500 LP cost and made it from a normal Trap to a Quick-Play Spell like Venoshock suggested.)

 

I made this because I just thought it was a cool idea.

If this card needs improvement (I`m sure it will), please tell me how it could be improved.

The card has too many drawbacks: As a Trap it is slow, it can only recover a single card, and of top of that, it costs 500 LP.

 

But the problem with cards that return banished cards to the grave is that, while most decks don't really benefit from them, the decks that do are prone of abusing them. For instance, returning Mezuki to the grave in Zombies. As far as I know, that's why Burial from a Different Dimension, a card that outclasses this except for recycling S/Ts, is still Limited. So I don't think it would be wise to make this card as good as Burial.

 

My suggestion would be to remove the LP cost and perhaps turn it into a Quick-Play, so as a chainable Quick-Play you will be able to compensate the -1 from using this card by baiting MST and other S/T removal effects, or use it without waiting a turn.

I guess the question becomes whether I dedicate 4 slots in my deck to get 6 cards back or 1 to get 3. Burial is certainly a card that does basically what this does x3, so it becomes a question of deck dedication.
