Blake
While I love this card, I feel like the last couple of sets have made it lose a good deal of power. It's only truly powerful in a deck that can consistently R4, due to being searchable there. Issue being, there are now so many good 2 Mat R4s that its Synchro access is almost moot due to space limitations, bar Blader when needed. You're giving up generic extra space for a space for 1-3 cards in your main deck. Not gonna count King here, cause Kagetokage exists, but yeah. While it can R4 as well for rather cheap, it's clunky in most decks that wanted it before and it's really not worth running it for a 1-card Xyz 9/10, because your deck will either have specific options or have better options to Normal Summon without giving up an entire turn of other plays (Boxers, Gogogo, etc.) It's still not a bad card, but I just feel like it's not as good as it was pre-PRIO, and even Pre-LVAL, at all. That said, Blader access is still a really good selling point.
Slinky
It might turn into the new Debris Dragon. More searchable and has a wider variety of options. As Debris dragon is restricted to dragon-types a 1 card Dyson Sphere/Enterprisnir is always nice though, now that we have good level 5 monsters with 0 Defense (Galaxy Soldier has 0 def yes? I think it does, might be mistaken). I need to stop forgetting that Chameleon restricts SS's that aren't from the extra deck.
ihop
Going to be a top card if there is a relevant deck that can consistantly get level 4s with 0 DEF in the grave because a searchable access to every Rank 4 Xyz and every Level 8 Synchro is absolutely fantastic. But a good bunch of them are.
ihop
..Well.. not EVERY level 8 synchro. But a good bunch of them are. Every generic one is obviously what I mean. And between Blader, Stardust, Spark, Colossal and Scrap Dragon that's a pretty good choice, not to mention SHArk, Maestroke, Exciton Knight, Dweller, etc.
Toffee.
Thing is, Black... It's not necessarily this card's fault, per say, but rather- It's because Xyzs are more of a thing.

evilfusion
It's trying too hard if going off Snoww. Since you can't SS except from the Extra Deck that turn, you can't bounce Snoww for Grapha, and Chameleon doesn't do anything else for the Deck. Wildflame
Welp, I guess it is an alternative if Grapha gets banned for some reason.
goddamnit names are a pain
Welp, I guess it is an alternative if Grapha gets banned for some reason. If Grapha gets banned you aren't playing Darkworlds.
Rawkobo
It's a helpful thing to tutor up in the Reptile engine when you have targets, but otherwise there's a large number of other Tuners that overshadow this card easily in this format. =/
Sora1499
Oh nuh Synchros are fading back into obscurity :U I really like this card. It's simple and good at what it does. Easy enough.
Azuh
Can anyone tell me the reasoning by this card? Like why does a Chameleon summon 0 Defensinve monsters from the Grave I'm not complaining about the card, I just want to know the lore about it, or if there is some mythology about Chameleons Also needs a reprint

Maybe? Possibly reaching, but it might explain it.

Maeriberii Haan
It's because it can Henshin into a variety of extra deck monsters. Though that still does not explain the 0 DEF deal.

TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
It gets played occasionally in machine decks due to this:I've faced it a ton, though not as much as I used to.
Slinky
Machina Gadget decks that utilize this are really hilarious. Extra Deck becomes a search toolbox, its funny.
