Maeriberii Haan
Target 1 card you control; this turn, when any monster effect resolves that targeted that card at activation, negate that effect. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 card you control; this turn, when any monster effect resolves that targeted that card at activation, negate that effect. Or how to stop worrying and laugh at the veiler. Do you use it in tandem with monk/other stuff? Do you like using it? Do you think this is trash? Discuss. Trebuchet MS
It'll see competition with Breakthrough Skill, but the "either player's turn" clause in the second effect really gives Prisoner an edge over Breakthrough.
Azuh
Wording just sounds so bad on this card, but it makes a lot of sense. Basically it activates when a monster effect targets the card, amirite?
Maeriberii Haan
Yes. And unlike Dress, this can be used to save things that's already been targetted by card effect due to it negating the effect.
Zauls
It's a decent side deck card right now, but there are other things I would rather side. It has potential to be great depending on the format.
Dog King
This would of been great if atleast the first effect destroyed the monster, but its still decent.
Goose
These cards that activate in the graveyard are konami's way of making slow traps worth something and I hate it.
werewolfjedi
I've playtested this card, it's a side choice, but I find it cloggy more often than not, because of the fact that there are still a lot of effects you want to stop, since non targeting effects from monster, and more importantly, spell and traps, are not stopped by this card. play at 2 at max. it's not worth a full set, and having just one gives you 2 shots, and that's just fine for most games honestly. Miror B
Wording just sounds so bad on this card, but it makes a lot of sense. Basically it activates when a monster effect targets the card, amirite? It can activate whenever.
the_engineer
It also stops Monarch's effects, pretty stronk
Lonk
My favorite tech card. Heavily underrated, especially since a large majority of modern-day monster effects target. I think that one thing that people forget is that this card can also target cards, i.e. your Spell/Trap cards and protect them from monster effect targeting. This card won me so many games that it is hilarious.
