heraldry_lord Posted March 9, 2014 Report Share Posted March 9, 2014 Rank-Up-Magic Dark Force Quick-Play Spell Card When an Xyz Monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Target that Xyz Monster you control; send that target to the Graveyard, then Special Summon 1 Xyz Monster that is 1 Rank higher than the sent monster from your Extra Deck in face-up Attack Position, also Special Summon 1 Xyz Monster that is 2 Ranks higher than the sent monster from your Extra Deck in face-up Defense Position. (These Special Summons are treated as an Xyz Summon.) Their effects are negated. Astral used this to Summon Utopia Ray V and Force Focus. Discuss? It's the dark counterpart to Hope Force, and represents what happened when he turned evil. This RUM actually sacrifices the base monster to become something more powerful; Astral was willing to ram himself and Yuma to death (thus probably sacrificing Yuma) for greater power.
