Not-so-Radiant Arin
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 "The Agent" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "The Agent of Mystery - Earth". While "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is face-up on the field, you can add 1 "Master Hyperion" from your Deck to your hand instead. Let me tell you all why this card is better than Uranus. It doesn't rely on a Field Spell that you have to waste space for. Those 2-3 Terraformings and 2-3 Sanctuary in the Sky can be used effectively on your monster lineup, rather than clogging space for an effect that no one will ever get off because Hyperion doesn't need a topdeck. Terraforming also has the possibility to be dead first turn so all that space you've dedicated for getting off Uranus is wasted. It tutors basically half your entire Deck. It can easily search out Venus and granted, while it does search out Uranus, chances are most people will drop this first turn and go to Venus. Because that's the Deck's main play. You don't have to waste other Deck space which can be used for other members of the Archetype to "fulfill the Chaos requirements", as you only need a few DARK monsters (Gorz, Trag, Tour Guide @3, Warwolf it you so choose, etc.) to fulfill your chaos lineup, plus all of the Extra Deck lineup. You don't need to use Uranus if you're just going to be using it "for the chaos play", Only bad players do that. This card can make Level 8s just as well as Uranus can, but without the extra wasted space from Sanctuary in the Sky + Terraforming. You have to get rid of something to put Uranus out if you don't have Sanctuary in the Sky. So it has the potential to be dead in the hand. It translates into Hyperion fodder later, but it's better to put it in the Graveyard, but there's no way to put it in the Grave without putting it on the field first. Konami is trying to push an agenda of using "Sanctuary in the Sky" as an excuse for Agents to suddenly become better again when the correct way to play the Deck is to swarm the field with high-powered boss monsters. That's pretty much all I'm saying. And everyone keeps saying that will suddenly make Agents good when really....it doesn't.
goddamnit names are a pain
Who the freaking hell said Uranus was better than this?
Blake
IDGI why are you comparing them One's a tutor that happens to be a tuner. The other is a tuner that you can drop freely under a condition that level modulates. They're completely different animals.
goddamnit names are a pain
I mean one carries the deck and another doesn't- the comparison is not needed. Uranus is not a bad card but it doesn't suddenly make Agents good. Let people play the Sanctuary build I'm happy it got support since it was what the deck originally was going to do. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW
Who the freaking hell said Uranus was better than this? He was saying that Uranus sucks and shouldn't be ran ever and is stupid because it forces reliance on a bad card and should die more than Saturn and Mars. Maybe not as exaggerated as I make it out to be, but still. OT: The search makes it incredible. Really, you thin your Deck by one card, then two or three more cards next turn because Venus is smexy. This makes it easier to get Hyperion, even without Sanctuary, and gives it a lot of fuel while simultaneously letting you fort up with Gachi and maybe a Rank 3 who becomes so much nicer with the boost. Slinky
Why are you running Terraforming? Zeradias is a thing.
The Warden
I'd like to oint out that if you're usign Sanctuary, you run Zeradias, not Terraforming. Being a LIGHT Fairy he adds to the count for Krystia and is also a target for Hyperion to banish. He is the far superior choice than terra. Ultravires
The only reason Uranus exists is so that Konami can make a funny. DUEA-JP026 = Uranus DUEA-JP027 = Demolisher
Goose
Only worth running if you run Sanctuary to search Hyperion [/thread]
goddamnit names are a pain
You see though Sanctuary builds are fun D= I mean they aren't as good but they are still fun....I personally love the LP gimmick decks, like Neo Parshath and other stuff like that. Still it doesn't really justify the somewhat weirdness that is Ur anus It isn't awful just not what the deck that wins wants
Goose
Gimmicky Sanctuary Agents are bad, but played right they are hella consistent. The issue is that they are too slow. Jupiter, Hyperion, Earth, and Divine Punishment or whatever are all so amazing with Sanctuary.
