All "Gravekeeper's" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Cards in either player's Graveyard cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard, other than itself, to a different place.

Let's get straight to the point.

Would siding (or maining) this in Artifact variants be effective? While it won't stop Quarantine and Fossil Dyna from being dropped, it does make decks like Bujin and Madolce weep, not to mention it stops Cycle Reader shenanigans.

Discurse.

Annoying as hell because it blocks out most Graveyard interactions that everyone and their mother's Decks are doing. Or, as most other players would put it, "you-can't-play".

The 500/500 boost is icing on the cake in its home Deck.

It's also annoying but makes sense that they have ways around the weakness of the card.

It seems stupid that some cards say "this effect is unaffected by the effects of Necrovalley" or whatever. Makes sense....but kind of dumb to me.

And then all the support around the field spell...it's a very annoying deck to fight.

That makes sense to me. Necrovalley is the Field of the Gravekeepers. The Gravekeepers have access to the tombs (Graveyard), but prevent others from getting there. Therefore, they have cards that freely access the Grave while restricting others. Even the original GK cards used this theme with Rite of Spirit and Gravekeeper's Chief.

the fact that this card is death to bujins is weird since i never lose to GKs when i use bujins

That could be because:

-Sufficient removal that's not centipede.

-The part of the deck that discards itself rather than banishing from the Graveyard.

-Bujins have a better search engine as far as I've seen too.

It could be a lot of things. Though yes, Necrovalley does sound like it'd seal off a good chunk of Bujin... odd.

can the first fist variant of bujin, as in the one that uses tenki and I think a few fists, be the cause? I believe they use the spell and trap destroyer, not to mention that mst is a thing

Um...

Necrovalley doesn't prevent cards from moving themselves out of the Grave, just other cards. Unless I'm SERIOUSLY confused about how Bujins work, this wouldn't touch ANYTHING since all the grave-activate cards move themselves to the banish.

"Cards in either player's Graveyard cannot be removed from play"
