Greiga
How exactly, would Warning work against Pendulum Summons anyway? Stop all monsters summoned.
Toffee.
I like how the Wiki says:When a Pendulum Summon is negated, such as by "Solemn Judgment", the Special Summons of all monsters that would be Summoned are negated at once. It's such a painfully obvious cop-out. Sleepy
I like how the Wiki says: It's such a painfully obvious cop-out. Almost as good as Bottomless for them since they are not being sent from the field, thus are gone for good (or until the player brings them back by other means). I don't think Wiretap is gonna be potent enough to really diminish Warning's position too much. The chances of re-drawing it are still slim and up to chance, so Wiretap is likely to just replace Seven Tools in formats where both factors overlap: It's worst to re-draw the negated traps AND where Seven Tools would normally be relevant enough. I'm a little out of touch with the competitive scene, but at the very least I can say I haven't seen much of a need to run Trap negation in decks at all so far, at most it must be side deck or MST and MST-look-alikes just is enough. Sometimes Fairy Wind for other cases, but that's getting side-tracked.... However I do think Soul Charge will have more of an impact, on this card and on the use of Upstart Goblin. I cannot yet speak for Soul Charge though, since it looks like a "must have, all generic" card that can become an unfair addition to many decks, but I only have seen the Lonefire into Quasar combo and some uses in Dragon decks. Not nearly enough for me to analyze it well.....
