[TCG] Noble Knight Brothers, Noble Knight Eachtar, Noble Knights of the Round Table and Avalon

Here's Eachtar:

You can banish 2 “Noble Knights” monsters from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. You can only use this effect of “Noble Knight Eachtar” once per turn. A Synchro or Xyz Sumon of a “Noble Knight” monster using this card as a Material cannot be negated, also your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when that monster is Special Summoned.

Its effect is the same as the one in the OP

None. It goes against grave revival, you have better luck running extinction knight than use Avalon.

But Avalon can help you get through tight situations, like say you have no usefull cards in your hand and you have Avalon face-down on your field. Your opponent has number 88 on their field and is one Destiny Counter away from winning. But you have five noble knights in your graveyard including the two other cards needed to activate Avalon. You can use Avalon to destroy Leo.

First off, no halfway competent person is playing Number 88 other than shits and giggles.

secondly, it's a situational main deck nuke that can't be searched and has to be set first.

It's s***.

Ahem, I used number 88 before, and won using the effect. Also, I think Avalon could be a useful card when needed.

Since when were Main Deck nukes bad again?  Granted, Avalon is as cost-heavy as fornication while requiring the condition of needing an Artorigus AND a Lancelot monster on top of the 5 Noble Knight cards, which automatically makes it crap.

You have in no way refuted my post.

That's because I don't want to stoop to your level of insult. Saying someone is stupid for using number 88 is just as bad as someone saying that they're stupid for using one of their favorite cards. What if someone insulted you for using your favorite card?

I never said it was stupid. I said it was never going to be used by any competent player in a competent gamestate. Casual doesn't matter in this argument.

Number 88's bad, so using it as a point to defend another card is, and prepare for a novel concept, bad.

You've made no good points, you have in no way made Avalon seem less shit, and instead you just got butthurt because I said your point was bad. So either give me a reason that's good that doesn't scream "Casual Logic", or don't try to defend the card.

OK, I guess you're right, but what about using Avalon to counter other nuke effects? Like Judgement Dragon for exa...oh who am I kidding, you might as well be right after all because you'll find another mistake with using Avalon against other nukes such as Judgement Dragon.

Your proposed argument has absolutely no bearing on the fact that Avalon is trash and only a trash player would play it.

only a trash player would play noble knights or wait is that too far lol

No, that's just the point you have to ignore for this converstaion to even happen.

They were tier 3 before and still topped multiple times, it all depends on the pilot. Brothers makes them just barely tier 2 by upping consistency and altering how the deck plays by allowing easier R4 Arty spam, which gives you more of a potential early grind game than the even more linear medraut.dek we had before.
