Doomcaliber Knight

I like the idea of Stun Decks that use this, but the effect being mandatory is frustrating, and the inability to Special Summon it, while a fair condition, limits its use at times. Having a solid 1900 ATK is very nice, but some players can bait its effect to get rid of it.

 

And then there's that one YCML match where someone last year or so didn't seem to realize Doomcaliber was mandatory, and didn't just use Gates to get rid of a Dark World and free himself from the lock. Or DD Crow...and spent like 8 turns unable to do much before losing.

 

I remember my coverage noted the misplay.

But LaDD is actually good. This is mediocre. Simply because of the fact that your opponent will just waste something they don't need to get rid of it. LaDD STAYS for the long haul, and losing 500 ATK on a body that originates at 2800 is no laughing matter. If it weren't for Xyzs and being able to make beatsticks out of thin air, LaDD would actually be good as an anti-meta.
