the_engineer
If it's good, it's autopilot. If it's bad, it's sleeper OP or a meta call. (if it has terrible card choices, it's a tech) LeL At least with lightsworns you have to choose carefully which card to discard for something like lumina/reincarnation or what to banish with wyvern if you don't just play 3 JDs. Also when to mill with what
cr47t
@werewolfjedi I usually run Chaos Dragons on DN and Exodia Library decks I encounter usually are so good that they can get all 5 pieces on the first turn, which is especially unfair if the player running the Exodia Library goes first. And when it does take 2 or more turns for the deck to get full effect, its sometimes not enough for me to lower the opponents LP to 0 because of either dead/stupid draws or effect/summoning conditions. The Hounds Of Anubis
Really, because I wasn't calling Artifacts autopilot. Just seeing who would be mad if I did. Since you were, not everything was incorrect, was it? ^_~ And old-school Lightsworns were and still are right there in that list. Nevermind what happened after Michael came into the picture; I'm talking the olden days back when Six Sams really did only number at six and Lightsworns didn't even have to bother with Synchro Summons to be on top of the meta. You can run pure pre-Michael Lightsworns and still walk right over the competition. I have an old-school LS deck I could hammer you and your precious Michael with all day long if you'd like proof, but let's keep the feud to YGOPro and not muck up the thread with what I can see evolving into an argument to remember if you'd like to follow up on this. Or we could just try to respect each other's statements on the matter. Or maybe I'm just older than I give myself credit for. Who knows; I'm talking about when there were only six Six Sams, y'know? Your statement did still imply that Artifacts are autopilot. If you didn't intend to imply that then I advise you to learn English. Also, you have an interesting version of "mad". I don't see any implication that he was mad at what you said and it was just his disagreement with you. You can't run pre-Michael Lightsworns and walk over any remote competition. You mention in your post that you want to keep the feud to YGOPro so I can only imagine that your clearly limited knowledge of what's good and what's bad is based off of the fierce competition of 45 card decks and players who wouldn't know a meta deck if it danced in front of them naked. Also, saying you could beat another player with a deck proves absolutely fuck all. Doing so wouldn't prove a lot either - the sample size would be drastically too small. Also fuck off are you "old" in terms of the game because you played with OG Lightsworns, or because you played when there were only six six Samurais (which there still are. The Legendary Six Samurai denote the same title in a different time period). Also, fuck this thread for still existing. Autopilot doesn't exist, so nor should this thread. Hunduel
I find it funny how people are whining about "autopilot" (which doesn't even exist - the only real autopilot thing in Yu-Gi-Oh! is the puzzle mode of any video games, where you have to play specific cards in order to complete the puzzle), but no one cares that 99% of the decks are pre-built concepts (Konami tells you what to play), and most of the "creative" decks are just mash-ups of two pre-build concepts, or has 1 or 2 techs. In fact, most of the players are just using another, weaker, underappreciated archetypes, thus following the same meta, but trying to be "creative", even thought they aren't. In other words: meta players are alpha, while those who are playing Tier 3-4 deck users are just beta, not innovators at all, as most of them thinks. Decks like Golem (Remove Brainwashing), Dino Rabbit, and even Tele-DAD, Airblade Turbo are much more creative than a Volcanic deck. You didn't build that from scratch. You're just a hipster.
