Pokemon Ninja Force

Safety and serenity for all Pokemon, that is the dream. And the dreamers of the dream are never far away. Far off in the Central Sea lies the small [acronym=Pronounced Crowze]Kroze Region[/acronym]; an island Region consisting of two towns, one city and a village, otherwise known as: Gallis City in the north, Aspear Town (known for its Aspear Berry farms) in the west, Sombre Town in the south, & Retirement Village to the east, where old and retired Pokemon Champions come to spend their final days. Though different in scale and purpose, they all connect to the world. Kanto and Johto can be accessed by boat from Aspear Town. Sinnoh can be connected by boat from Gallis City. Kalos by boat from Retirement Village, and Hoenn by boat from Sombre Town. Those from Unova land in the airport outside of Gallis City.

These settlements are but simple distractions for the humans; a distraction that works all too well. In the centre of the Kroze region, in the vast and unforgiving Ancient Jungle that once covered the entire island, powerful and rare Pokemon inhabit this jungle. And they are not at home to invaders. These powerful creatures make the perfect guards for the absolute centre. It is here where the story starts.

For you see, in the centre of the Ancient Jungle is the old Golden Tower, one of the many roosts built long ago to honour Ho-oh. Now abandoned by its deity and by humankind, it is here where certain skilled Pokemon gather. They are the Order of the Pokemon Ninjas; Pokemon who from ancient times learned the way of Ninjutsu alongside humans. Eventually straying from humanity, the original grandmasters settled in the Golden Tower to begin their great work: Bringing peace to all regions. However, they were few, so very few, and the world so vast. How could they protect it all? Why, it was simple really: They would train others in Pokejutsu, to allow peace for the world. And now, nearing the eve of the next year, a new class of recruits is in session to begin the great work. Try not to disappoint us.
You’re a Pokemon Ninja (trainee), ‘nuff said.

The Kroze Region is relatively small compared to the other Regions, and is vastly underpopulated. To date, the Population of Kroze is 2000 or so. Now, to better adapt oneself to the Region, one must learn of it. So here’s the skinny of the Towns.
Gallis City is a small scale city when in compared to the other ones, but it remains the most populated in the Kroze Region, housing 1500+. Gallis City is separated into the North, East, South and West Metros. Housing is primarily within in the South and West Metros, though the more upper-class housing is situated in the North to get the best view of the sparkling ocean. The Gallis Park is found in the Southern Metro, and it is tended daily. Many of the residents love to bring their Pokemon down to frollick on the well kept lawns and lake found there. This location is of high value to the Order, as it allows them to remain in plain sight in order to obtain crucial information of the world at large. Remember Trainees, if you see someone with a Newspaper, they become your Number One priority.

Much of the industrial areas are contained within the West and North areas, but they are quite heavily separated from the housing. The primary industry is the purification and melting of platinum ores that get sent from the Sinnoh Region, as well as gold & silver samples from Johto. They are mostly powered by Electric Pokemon who are kept imprisoned in the buildings. Many a Helioptile has been sacrificed for the sake of industry. This area is strictly off limits to all members of the Order, as the chemicals used in the plant are hazardous to our health, or for some, a tantalizing treat.

The East Metro houses a vast shopping centre, known as the Silver Star Mall. Within it are various large scale Supermarkets, with some smaller specialist grocers. Fashion is all the rage in Gallis, and so the vast majority of the Shops there are into the latest trends that change roughly, every ten minutes or so. Even the slightest change in ensemble will spark a new and immediate change in the fashion trend. The Shining Star also houses the Grand Cinema, which houses, get this, a whole two screens that film movies straight from PokeStar Studios from Unova. You have simply never dreamed until you’ve been to one. This area is to be largely avoided by us, as it has the highest density of Pokemon Trainers in all of Kroze. We have lost many careless Trainees to the bane that is the Poke Ball.

Aspear Town is a farming community, and though it is well known for its Aspear Berries. Aspear is dominated largely by these farms, which dedicate themselves to almost any form of produce you can imagine. And, with some selective breeding, ones you could not. They are the largest providers of produce around, and their produce gets shipped all around the world. Aspear Town is also home to the largest Moo Moo Farm on the planet, housing no less than one hundred Miltank that get milked daily. Though it is unfair to these hard working humans, they are also the source of much of our meals as well. Weekly raids are incurred on these farms, but, we tend to keep it subtle as to not rouse suspicion.

Sombre Town, also known as the Town of Endless Rain, is home to the Pokemon Graveyard. Each tombstone is emblazoned with the name of a Pokemon that passed away all over the world. Ghost Pokemon are quite at home in this area, and they guard it fiercely from those who would disturb the peace of the dead. Every year, we of the Order come to this Graveyard to pay our respects to those who have lost their lives. This is the only day in which the Ghost Pokemon will allow us safe passage into the Graveyard.

Aside from highly possessive Ghost Pokemon, Sombre is surprisingly a large scale producer of glasswork and jewellery, using the gemstones sent from Sinnoh and Unova as well as gold, silver and platinum forged from Gallis City to make beautiful pieces of jewellery. A famous Goldsmith by the name of Mr. Cobalt lives here.

The Retirement Village is the last human occupied point in Kroze, and it is a quiet and gentle place full of many old timers who have had their time in the spotlight. Be careful here, as asking the wrong question or answering it in the wrong way dooms you to several hours of being told how they trained across their respective region before taking on the Champion. And despite the Alzheimers, they remember each and every little detail of their journey, right down to how long they waited to find the Pokemon with the right Nature.

This Village and Gallis are the only occupied areas with direct access to the ocean, with a very lovely Tentacool-proof beach easily accessed from nearly anywhere in the Village. Though, be careful of the Shellders, and old ladies in bikinis.

On the outskirts of this Village however, is a place to be avoided AT ALL COSTS! Alone in a hut lives a fallen member of our Order, who spent his time harnessing Dark Pokejutsu: the fallen Zoroark Mobius. If he speaks to you, flee. If he invited you into his house, flee faster. This creature is not to be trusted.

The Ancient Forest is a deep and mysterious forest full of powerful and dangerous Pokemon. So very little is truly known about it. Though people often say they see people communing with the Pokemon, but when pursued they vanish into thin air. The vastness of the Forest has caused it to be separated into five areas: The Northern Deep, the Western Deep, the Eastern Deep, the Southern Deep, and the Deep, which is the centre of the forest.

This Forest is home to many natural traps and pitfalls that prevent humans from venturing too deep. Quicksack beds line the forest floor, with pitfalls made by Trapinch and Victreebel bring a quick end to the careless. Home to the Northern Deep are the Tribal Simians: A tribe of hyper-aggressive Mankey and Primeape. Their villages are to be avoided, as these creatures do not separate friend from foe, so members of the Order are at great risk around them. If you encounter one, do know that these creatures will grant you a sole minute of time should you provide them with an offering of nuts, for legumes are their favourite food.

The Western Deep is where the forest is most dense, and the Grass Pokemon that thrive within work hard to keep it that way. The Order is on good terms with the Venasaur that rules over this deep, and he allows us safe passage through the creeping vines and carnivorous plants that guard this Deep.

The Eastern Deep is where the vast majority of quicksand beds lay, and they are tended to by the Flygon that rules this Deep. He is a jealous and suspicious creature, but one of honour. He will allow safe passage for a member of the Order, so long as you maintain some proof of your claim. Fail to do so, and you too will join the many who sleep now in the quicksand. However, his territory dwindles slowly as the farmers of Aspear Town clear away more of the forest so they can increase the size of their farms. The Order fears for the time when the Flygon declares war on the humans.

The Southern Deep is the most treacherous of all. The leaf litter that consumes this Deep hides many pitfalls and loose vines that cover the forest. Aggressive and powerful Pokemon rule this area, but they answer to no one. They do not care for our Order, and will attack on sight any who dare to enter their territory.

The Deep is home to the Golden Tower, the home of our Order. Though it is a great and mighty tower, the trees that cover it are even greater still. Titanic in scale, their canopies guard our home from the prying eyes of outside invaders. These trees were grown by one of the original Grandmasters, a Pokemon known as the Grandmaster of the Leaf Blade, the ever mighty Virizion. Using her power over nature, the Grandmaster grew our trees mighty and tall to protect us, and she cleared away the area around our tower. Though we are not welcome in the Northern and Southern Deeps, this clearing allows all to know they are not welcome in our sacred space.

1. Advanced Clause is in effect, y’know, like always.

2. Your Character will start off as a First Stage or Second Stage Pokemon. Only under a VERY rare circumstance will I allow a Third Stage trainee. I will send you a PM when I feel it's time for your Character to evolve.

3. I will allow the vast majority of Pokemon, though those considered exceedingly rare and/or powerful I will need to consider. Legendaries will almost certainly be off the table.

4. I (and a co-host (IF I get one)) pretty much get last say on things.

5. Attempting to drive along the plot is fine SO LONG as you confirm with me via PM, or the inevitable Skype Group Chat. Sub-plots are your problem.

6. There might be an Evil Team, IF I feel like adding one.

7. If you have any problems, take it up with me. If you have problems with another player, b***h at each other via PM (or the inevitable Skype Group Chat); I don’t want Rinne or Aix coming in here whilst I’m away to tell you to shut your cake holes.

8. I will think of other rules to put in…

9. Oh wait. To ensure you have read and understood my rules, type in “I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH” (in those exact words and Case) at the bottom of your app.

Pokejutsu is the art of harmonizing a Pokemon’s natural abilities and Chakra in order to utilize the mystical powers of Pokejutsu. All Pokemon possess the capacity to perform Pokejutsu, but only those who are trained in its art can utilize and master it. Those who join the Order are invited to join one of the many Paths of Pokejutsu. Though only one path can be followed at a time, some special Pokemon can eventually master them all. One of the major points of Pokejutsu is adaptability. Most new Pokejutsu Arts are created by the trainees themselves. The Order teaches almost every path of Pokejutsu in the Golden Tower; however, the Forbidden Arts are unwelcome in its walls.
A school of Pokejutsu for Pokemon who wish to hone their elemental abilities. This is a Path normally followed by: Grass, Water, Fire, Rock, Ice, Flying, Poison, Dark, Electric and Dragon Pokemon. Following this Path allows a Pokemon to hone their skills to unleash the true power of their element, bringing about devastating and powerful Pokejutsu that can alter the world itself. Pokemon following this Path are those most attuned to their element, and through their training they essentially become one with it. This Path is not an easy one, and it requires great time and dedication to truly become a Master of the Path of Nature.

A school of Pokejutsu for Pokemon who wish to strengthen their bodies and spirit. This is a Path normally followed by: Fighting, Ground, Normal, Rock, Ice, Steel and Dragon Pokemon. Following this Path strengthens the body of a Pokemon, so that they may withstand all attacks in the name of Peace. The Pokejutsu of this Path is set towards finding Inner Peace, and attaining the great wisdom associated with great power. Pokemon who have mastered this Path feel no pain, and their hearts are truly at peace. This Path is for those whose true desire is to see peace in the world, and for those who despise seeing others suffer.

A school of Pokejutsu for Pokemon who wish to strengthen their hearts, minds and souls. This is a Path normally followed by: Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Fairy and some Fighting Pokemon. Following this Path strengthens the mind, to remove all doubt and illusions. It strengthens the heart, as to hear what it truly says. And it strengthens the soul, to bring out its true power. Masters of this Path possess great mental prowess, and typically possess the most Chakra energy. They are immune to effects that would alter the true perception of reality. This Path is for those whose minds are their greatest power.

A school of Pokejutsu for Pokemon whose deceitful natures become their greatest strength. This is a path normally followed by: Bug, Dark, Ghost, Poison and Fairy Pokemon. Following this Path means you give yourself over to the shadows, for they will be your greatest ally. Pokemon of this Path are masters of illusion and sleight of hand manoeuvres. Their skills of stealth become so great that no one will ever notice they are there unless they will it. Though not inherently evil, the deceitful nature of this Path results in a lack of trust amongst other members of the Order. This Path is for those who wish to bamboozle their foes, and also impress their friends.

A school of Pokejutsu that focuses exclusively on training Normal Pokemon. This Path trains a Pokemon in order to bring out their hidden potential. They train in all aspects that other Paths do, but they never focus entirely on one thing, nor do they reach the higher levels that those following those particular Paths reach. A Master of the Majority becomes a jack of all trades, able to utilize many Pokejutsu, though never mastering one branch. Their multipurpose natures allow them to adapt to different situations however.

A school of Pokejutsu that focuses exclusively on training Dragon Pokemon. This is a near impossible Path that will test a Pokemon to their very limits. The rigorous training and the increasingly difficult tasks train all aspects of the Dragon’s form, in order to bring out the true might that only a Dragon can display. Those that survive the training become the most powerful of all Pokemon Ninjas.

[REDACTED]

For the most part, it’s up to you as to what your actual Pokejutsus will be. For the Prologue Arc your character(s) will be taught some various low-level Pokejutsu for your Path, but as it progresses you will be utilizing your own.

An art that is inherent to even the lowest of Trainees, it simply requires the vocalization of the Pokejutsu's name. Upon successful application, the User is able to understand every single language known on the planet, so long as they are aware of the language.
“[acronym='Continuing the legacy my great-great grandfather left...that's my choice. Look out world, the grandson of Masao has arrived!!']I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH[/acronym]”

Username: Chaos Sonic

Character Name: Vash

Pokemon Species: Riolu

Gender: Male
Vash has, not only his adamant nature to his personality, but a few characteristics that can only be described as being passed down by his great-great grandfather, Masao's will. These characteristics include the spirit of never giving up no matter what the situation may be and his mind being totally focused on his goal, never straying from the path its set on. However, with this, Vash also picked up a trait from his father which happens to be a very harsh nature. With this in mind, Vash is usually the one to want to charge into a situation with his per-verbal Honedges blazing. Because of this, if the young Riolu is out matched in any way, shape, or form will become a problem, especially with the fact that he will try to take on whoever it is in a way by himself. Even with these flaws, Vash does still follow directions and orders given, if only diverting from the orders slightly if need be.

In a group, the young Riolu gets along with others and his teammates very well, even though he never really had friends his own age in his pack. Vash does his best to befriend those he can, even though he knows he can't befriend them all. With that, if he can't befriend them, he backs off without a question or reason why, to not invade on their privacy. In the field of battle or any mission, another trait of Masao is seen in Vash, as he strong believer in never leaving anyone behind. If the mission would not allow it, the young Riolu would do his best to make sure his allies would get back safely (which is where diverting from orders comes into play).

Vash had never been a trainer's Pokemon, no...he just lived on Kroze island with the pack of Lucarios that resided in the small forest area at the very mouth of the Ancient Forest. The Lucario pack more or less acted as guides and even guardians for those who entered the Ancient Forest, which was the reason the pack's number slowly began to dwindle down in size. As a result, Vash's father was one of the Lucario who never returned after he was guiding travelers through the Ancient Forest. Leaving him only with his mother, Vash became saddened and even alone. However, his mother, gave her son stories that would change his outlook on the world.

Pokemon Ninjas, Vash was told the stories and heroic tales of these strong Pokemon that trained at the Golden Tower and protected the world by use of their Pokejustsu. But one tale remained in his mind above all other: the tale of his great-great grandfather, a shiny Lucario by the name of Masao. A truly great Lucario Pokemon Ninjas that walked the face of the planet was indeed Masao, who took on a group of enemy Mienshao and Mienfoos single handedly when his allies were unable to assist him. These stories and even hearing how his great-great grandfather was an amazing ninja, cause the gears in young Vash's head to turn.

A choice was made on that day, the anniversary of his father's disappearance: young Vash would go to the Golden Tower to train his hardest to become a Pokemon Ninja, to follow in Masao's footsteps. With his mind made up, Vash bid his mother and his pack farewell, as he traveled to the Golden Tower.
Ability: Steadfast

Pokejutsu School: The Path of Might

Hold Item: Masao's Necklace - An item that Masao once held when he was a ninja. It has become a keepsake to Vash's family, being passed down to him.

“[acronym='You don't get it...I'm only in it to end those Sevipers. Nothing more...']I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH[/acronym]”

Username: Chaos Sonic

Character Name: Nobu

Pokemon Species: Zangoose

Gender: Male
Before the Seviper attack, Nobu was a kind and gentle Zangoose, enjoying his life to the fullest as he hung out with his brother. These feelings remain within the Zangoose's heart, although pushed deep down to make way for the hatred and anger he has towards the Sevipers that killed his brother. Nobu doesn't see eye to eye well with anyone, especially if they aren't able to help him to achieve his goals or hold him back from reaching said goals. The Zangoose isn't exactly a team player and prefers to work alone, saying that with anyone else's help on missions and such would be slowing him down and only wasting their talents and energy.

In a way, Nobu can be a bit sadistic and at some times a masochist, enjoying the pain as he knows it'll make him stronger. If anyone mentions anything about knowing something about the Sevipers, the Zangoose looses it and demands in a cold manner where they are. Because of this, most Pokemon have even seen the blood-lust in his eyes when he hears about these things.

Nobu lived a great life with his brother as they lived on the north side of Aspear Town, helping around the farming community when needed. It wasn't they're job, but the locals enjoyed the fact that they were eager to help out around the farms. Nobu and his brother had it made, given great food and even being allowed to stay in Aspear Town itself. However, good things always come to an end...

The migration pattern of a group of Seviper took a turn for the worse, as they began to migrate to where Nobu and his brother had been living and soon a turf war began to break loose between the group of Sevipers and the two Zangoose. The turf war raged on for a while, until Nobu and his brother fought them off, watching them slither in fear...but this fight cost something dear. Nobu's brother, struck by multiple Poison Fangs...and without any way of treating it right then and there, Nobu's brother died right before his eyes.

Nobu, holding his brother's severed claw, watched over the grave he made as he moved from the location, running through the forest trying to find those cold-blooded monsters. He didn't find the Sevipers, but he found something that would definitely aid him: the Golden Tower...home of the Pokemon Ninjas. Surely, these Pokemon would teach him the skills needed...to gain the revenge he sought.
Ability: Immunity

Pokejutsu School: Path of Might

Hold Item: Zangoose Claw - This Zangoose claw happens to be from his own deceased brother. It hangs around his neck by the use of a vine-like string, serving as a reminder from his deceased brother that the Sevipers have to pay.
Yeah, something happened to the OP. I've fixed it however.

EDIT: Twice now. Jesus this OP thing is getting my goat.

Okay, here are where the Character Files will be kept.
“No past, no regrets.”

Username: Broke. N

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Hanzo Leapfrog
Pokemon Species: Greninja
Gender: M
Personality: A stalwart individual, his spirit has been trained by time and pain. Though time has taken his strength and his passion, he still possesses the energy to dedicate his life to the Order; the only thing that brings significance to his life. Having recently taken the post of Supreme Grandmaster, he had grown distant from his fellow Grandmasters as he spends his days meditating in the Inner Sanctum, avoiding contact with them and spending rare little time with the Trainees. Deep down though, the reason he avoids his peers is because he is afraid of the responsibilities that came with the job that he did not ask for. The balance over much of the world had become his responsibility, and despite his age and training he still does not feel he is prepared for this role. Meditation is the only thing that truly brings him peace now, as he remains still in the ever-changing world.
History: That is none of your concern Bellsprout.

Ability: Protean
Pokejutsu School: Master of the Path of Nature. Master of the Path of Spirit. Master of the Path of the Trickster.
"Can I set something on fire now?"

Username: Simdoggy

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Ayano
Pokemon Species: Vulpix
Gender: Female
Personality: Ayano is rather impatient and easily excitable, not being particularly good at sitting down and staying quiet, and often easily distracted. She also loves both fire and explosions, something only increased by her type and what it means to her ability to create fire. Between that and her Ability, Flash Fire, she's nearly incapable of being harmed by fire, which will allow her to use nearly all fire Jutsu with very little risk to her own safety. She's also proud of the two tails she currently has, often leaving the tails weaving around behind her as she walks around, and hopes to develop more of her tails soon. Despite her hyperactive nature, if you can get her to sit down and concentrate for a while, she's actually rather smart, though she dislikes actually trying to concentrate on anything that's not related to her abilities or to some sort of entertainment. Finally, while she's decent at improvising on the go, she has a tendency to believe throwing fire at a problem will fix it, rather than actually trying to solve the problem properly.
History: Ayano was born and raised by her mother, a particularly beautiful Ninetails, and lived her early life in the Hoenn Region around Mt Pyre. An easily excitable child even during her youth, her mother quickly found that the easiest way to get her to stop running around was to produce some manner of flame, usually by lighting fires on the tips of her tails to distract Ayano. As she grew older, Ayano decided she wanted to learn how to manipulate fire better, which she was already entranced with by then, in part thanks to her mother's way of distracting her. After managing to sit down and figure out the best options for doing so with the help of her mother, Ayano made the decision to go and join the Order of the Pokemon Ninjas, a group her mother had encountered and occasionally helped out many years ago. After making the decision, the two traveled across the sea by stowing away on a boat headed for Sombre Town. Once there, the two traveled into the Ancient Forest, going via the Western Deep, forcing Ayano to be careful not to set anything on fire to avoid antagonizing the Grass Pokemon. Once at the Golden Tower, Ayano's mother only stayed a few days to talk to the elders she had met previously before leaving again, intending to settle near Aspear Town. Finally at the Order she had decided to join, Ayano got settled in to her new home, eagerly waiting to join the next class of recruits.

History: Nobu lived a great life with his brother as they lived on the north side of Aspear Town, helping around the farming community when needed.

“I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH”

Username: Lord JZ of the Enigma

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Kenichiro
Pokemon Species: Oshawott
Gender: Male
Personality: Ken is a lighthearted guy, usually preferring to observe nature and all of the beauty that surrounds it.......and the ladies too. One of his original reasons for trying to become a ninja was to impress girls back in Unova, however, seeing as all of the Oshawott line are already swordsman it left him looking rather lackluster to the rest of the students. He appreciates the art of his ancestors and knows how to act like a proper warrior, but it's not his strongest suit as he would rather just impress people with awesome tricks. He may not be the best candidate for a Pokemon Ninja, but he does have previous training in discipline and weapons play and knows what it takes to become a master....he's just too lazy to do so, training him may be a challenge for the Masters as much as it would be for him to train. He doesn't learn too quickly and he fumbles a lot, especially when involving weapons like his Scalchop or even chopsticks, but when it's something he really wants, or if he really wants to impress a girl, his determination is unstoppable, even if it takes days or months to accomplish. Sadly, as there are more male students in the school, his motivation may be dipped a bit and his learning will probably be stifled.
History: Long ago, when Unova was a land of tradition and honor the great Samurai and their Samurai Pokemon were the most revered, and sometimes reviled of defenders in the land, working under the Shoguns they did their bidding without question whether or not it was in their code of morality. The people of Unova had become oppressed and called upon the Ninja, and in turn the Pokemon Ninja to fight back and protect them, it was not an easy battle, but the oppression of the Shogun was stopped and the Samurai slowly became no more then a symbol, but a symbol that tried to keep itself strong by training it's descendants generation after generation in the old traditions. The Samurai Pokemon, being all they had ever been known as continued relentlessly to keep their former glory.

Kenichiro was born into a world where everything must be done according to the old traditions, how to hold his scalchop, how to eat, how to sleep, and how to respond to any situation. It was a very mundane life and he never progressed very far in his training due to his wanting to get more from his life, and the fact that he was distracted by every cute girl he saw very...very easily. His father kept him in place often, making sure he wasn't an embarrassment to the family with his weak morals and weaker skill, and his submissive mother always bent to her father's will, never standing up for her son's differences and letting him take the abuse. The other Oshawott and Dewott in his class were also very unforgiving to his need to be different, and female Oshawott were never interested in an outcast loser like Ken. He knew he had no aptitude for the traditions of his family and one day, he decided to simply walk out of his home for a morning swim, and never came back. He was chased by many would be predators and trainers but his small size always did help him escape.

His two weeks of traveling had brought him nothing but hunger and loneliness and when he was about ready to give up he saw a Trainer and her Buneary being attacked by a terrifying three headed Black Dragon. His will to protect others kicked in as he tried to help them, only to get blasted away effortlessly by the beast. It had looked like his end when water shuriken had struck the monster and caused it to stumble and a swift figure jumped from the trees, felling the beast with a blast of kinetic energy, allowing the girls to escape and the powerful savior to help Ken to his feet. He was a Greninja, not local to Unova, but he introduced himself only as a traveling Pokemon Ninja and told him that a Pokemon with his kind of heart was exactly what being a ninja was all about.

Ken was left awestruck at the abilities of a ninja, and asked where he could go to become one, the Greninja pointed him to the far east as there was a plane headed to the Kroze region. One extremely difficult stowaway trip later and he found himself in Gallis city, and the beginning of his adventure.
"I can't decide if pain or fear is more torturous."

Username: ~Renegade~

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: [acronym="Answers to a variety of names: Genesis, Three, Gen, Experiment 03 (you probably shouldn" t mention that last one)']Genesis-03[/acronym]
Pokemon Species: Eevee (Genetically altered)
Gender: Female
Personality: Genesis is exceedingly cynical. She views very little of the world as good, pure, or innocent. The injustices that were done to her have hardened her heart and very rarely does she show any form of compassion or empathy. She is very inclusive, often concealing her thoughts from others. This sometimes causes other Pokemon to believe her to be stupid, but in truth she is actually quite intelligent. However, despite her intelligence, Genesis is actually quite young. This causes her to occasionally act impulsively and fall into the trap of naivety. She is much to young to act so cynical and hate-filled, often garnering her unwanted pity or undeserved disappointment.

She has a great fear of doctors, needles, and anything medical based. She constantly has nightmares about the days she was experimented on and will consistently have terrors if exposed to similar environments. Similarly, she has intense fear of entrapment and immediately starts functioning off the base desire to survive if ever placed in such a situation. This means she abandons any attempt at camaraderie and will ignore any non-immediately fatal wound to her own body to escape, regardless of long term repercussions.

Genesis has an amazing work ethic, leaving no room for having an enjoyable time, she is constantly at work trying to perfect whatever it is she is working at. This leaves little time for recreation, as previously stated, as well as little time for friends, which she doesn't have anyway. Genesis is completely destination driven and cares little for living in the moment. She always has a goal to work towards and without one, she doesn't quite know how to function.

Finally, due to Genesis' genetic instability, she fears that there may be a potential for alternate personalities to manifest themselves. In fact, there have already been instances where they have. Each possible instance seems to correspond with a temporary evolution, which makes Genesis wary of utilizing her greatest asset. She fears losing control.
History: Genesis was born in a laboratory, grown in a test tube; she never knew what it was like to have parents. She, along with seven other genetically proctored Eevees, were kept under the supervision of a human that they collectively called The Tester. They were not taught to hunt or defend themselves like wild Pokemon, nor were they acclimated to living with humans in a Pokemon-Trainer lifestyle. No, instead, they became accustomed to being poked, prodded, shocked, etc. in the name of being tested and experimented on.

Under this treatment, Genesis' genetic make-up was changed. The shift allowed her to switch between each of the evolutionary options available to the Eevee species at will. Of the seven genetic experiments, there was only one other that was able to achieve a similar rate of success, but it, codenamed Vee, could only switch between Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon. Working in conjunction, both Vee and Genesis were able to escape from The Tester, but the five remaining experiments were left to the cruelty of The Tester.

After escaping, Genesis tried to remain low, and worked to avoid any form of attention. However, eventually, a few goons from Team Rocket, the organization that The Tester worked for, caught up with her. Fighting her way out of the situation, Genesis barely survived. It was then that she knew she would have to work to become stronger in order to ensure her survival.

She stowed away on a ship from the Kanto region to the Kroze region, intending to make her way to Retirement Village and get trained by the previous Champions that made their home there. It was during this journey of hers that she heard about the Order that lived deep in the wild areas of the region. Genesis decided to go there, figuring that it was her best option in survival.

At this point, Genesis is merely concerned for her own safety. If the Order turns out be more trouble than it is worth or if her position is compromised, she intends to flee at the slightest sight of trouble. She is willing to side with anyone who will protect her. She refuses to get back under the control of The Tester.
“Some day, I'll evolve into a mighty Trevenant and become part of the Ancient Forest once more.”

Username: Simdoggy

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Suki
Pokemon Species: Phantump
Gender: Female
Personality: Suki is fairly calm and quiet, happy to do work if necessary and doesn't tend to worry over things she has no control over. When nothing is happening to keep her interest, Suki can often zone out and just think for hours at a time, though she won't notice the time passing when it happens. She also has a warped perception of time, able to have hours passing in what seems like minutes for her, and thus has a lot of patience. That warped perception of time comes mainly from being a ghost, beings that typically have long, if not unending lifespans. Though not too disruptive at this point, Suki doesn't seem to notice the time that passes while she's zoned out, often getting surprised when she comes back into alertness to notice just how long has passed. Thanks to her Natural Cure, Suki isn't afraid of much, as most wounds will heal quickly once she's out of a battle, allowing her to take a decent amount of damage in fights without worry. The only things she is properly afraid of is fire and ice, which heavily damage her physical body and take longer to heal than most wounds. Suki is smart enough to figure out decent strategies, but because she does that through zoning out to think it through, it can take her a while to decide on a path to take.
History: Suki came into being like most Phantump do, coming into existence as a formerly dead tree stump near the edge of the Southern Deeps after the dead stump was inhabited by the spirits of several children that had died nearby. After waking to her newly found consciousness, the new Phantump spent the next couple of months simply drifting around the Southern Deeps, as she got used to her new existence. Eventually finding her way out of the Ancient Forest, she made her way south and was found by the Ghost Pokemon inhabiting Sombre Town, deciding to join them for a time. It was there Suki gained her name, having been named by the ghosts in the graveyard after they accepted her and allowed her to join them. After living there for several years, still feeling dissatisfied with her current life, Suki eventually decided to find the Gold Tower and join the Pokemon Ninja Force that came to visit once a year, so as to help protect the forest she came from. Making her way back through the Southern Deeps, and using her similarities to the trees around it to appear like deadwood to the aggressive inhabitants as it did when it first inhabited the Southern Deeps, Suki slowly found her way to the Golden Tower, and arrived ready to join the next class. After hearing about the paths, Suki decided to follow the Path of Spirit, so she would be more aid to the forest if she ever managed to evolve she could help out with defending the forest and nurturing it to make it stronger.
“Just one more time. And then I won't be weak any more...”

Username: Admiral_Stalfos19

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Skyler
Pokemon Species: Staravia
Gender: Male
Personality: Even though he's already once evolved from a Starly, Skyler is convinced that he's still not strong enough to fend for himself or anyone he cares about, and he's felt that way ever since a certain unfortunate scenario. However, even though he's unsure if he can defend his own morals, he'll certainly try anyway... if only because giving up doesn't solve anything, and he knows that just as well as most anyone else. Hence why Skyler takes his pursuit of evolving one more time very seriously, so he can put any and all doubts behind him once and for all. Skyler has a few morality things that keep him from being friends with just anyone; most notably, he seems to be quick to judge everyone he's ever met and refuses to let go of any grudges he's ever held, and he has an innate hatred of Dark-type Pokemon because of how hard it is to get a read on their true intentions. On top of that, he's ultimately unforgiving, and once Skyler finds even the slightest reason to turn hostile on a Pokemon, he'll lunge straight into combat without warning. Speaking of, Skyler is a very aggressive battler; even more so when he's unleashing the last few ounces of his strength. Unfortunately, Skyler can be provoked into throwing caution to the wind, though this is usually easier said than done. He also takes being defeated rather hard, since to him, it's just another reason to find weakness in himself. All in all, Skyler is tired of feeling weak, and has taken The Path of Might cause he believes that's the best course towards an eventual evolution.
History: Skyler was originally living within the Kalos Region; more specifically just outside the Reflection Cave. One day, Skyler decided to migrate, and spotted a female Murkrow that would later be known as Crescenzia after trekking deep into a forest en route to Laverre City. Having just evolved from a Starly that morning, Skyler was raring to engage combat, but Crescenzia flew off in the opposing direction. Unaware of what she was up to, Skyler gave pursuit, soaring in between the trees in an attempt to gain ground on Crescenzia. Unfortunately, Crescenzia had been leading Skyler into a trap this whole time, and just as she perched suspiciously in one of the trees, a swarm of Beedrill arose from all around Sklyer, stopping him in his tracks. Skyler tried his best to get past the swarm of Beedrill, but without Emma's guidance, he had quickly fell to multiple Fury Attacks and Poison Stings, and eventually fainted.

Eventually, Skyler picked himself back up, only to return to the very forest in which he fell. Once again, Skyler managed to spot Crescenzia with relative ease, and again. he charged recklessly after her, with her trying to fly away again. This time, however, Crescenzia had unwittingly lead Skyler in the vicinity of her father, a Honchkrow who had been sending flocks of Murkrow that he commanded to patrol the forest. As Crescenzia fled in desperation, her father had managed to fell Skyler in one swift Sucker Punch, ending him in an instant. The next thing he knew, Skyler awoke elsewhere, and, unacceptable to accept such an embarrassing defeat, flew away from Kalos forever. That's when he discovered the Kroze Region, by extension, Skyler had stumbled upon the Golden Tower that was abandoned by humanity. Intrigued by this tower, Skyler proceeded forward to get a closer observation, but he was spooked by something amiss, and hid in the nearby trees. Now though, Skyler is peering at the tower from a distance, wondering whether or not coming to this place was such a good idea after all...
“This blade isn't just for show...”

Username: Ketodama

.:Personal Information:.
Character Name: Alexander
Pokemon Species: Absol
Gender: Male
Personality: Despite a rather obvious lack of age, Alexander exhibits a certain coldness one would expect from those who have seen all the evil in the world that there is to see.  Because of this he is normally silent, speaking only when he believes he has need to and expects that his words would be listened to.  Those around him will often find a suspicious eye or two cast upon them, for he does not trust anyone with ease.  Not that having his trust would have much obvious outward effect upon one's relationship with him, a trusting glacier is still a glacier after all.  None of this should be assumed to be a sign of a lack of caring though, as this particular creature has an urgency about him when it comes to disasters.  He seeks to arrive before a disaster strikes in just the nick of time to prevent harm to those that would be affected.  As for those who think him the source of such a disaster, the only response they can expect to their accusations is an unfeeling stare.  All the same, he does struggle with a violent temper that has seen him use far more force than necessary in the past and resulted in undue injuries to fellow trainees during bouts.
History: It is a well-known fact that Absol are solitary creatures.  From the day of their birth, they are equipped with everything they need to survive in the wild and as such their eggs are often watched only until they are ready to hatch.  None know exactly why this is done, but it is simply accepted as how things are by the Pokémon who do live this way.  Enter Alexander, who emerged from his egg to find an abandoned nest and cracked eggshells surrounding him.  At that age his mind was hardly developed enough to do more than search for food and hide, and so that was what he did.  With little way to accurately keep track of time, and little care to do so, he had no way to know exactly how much time passed before he was overcome by wanderlust and set out to see what he could of the world.

Unfortunately, his species' reputation as harbingers of disaster did not serve him well.  In many places he found himself unwelcome, and in just as many he was actively pursued by those that wished to do harm to him.  Thus it was that early on he found it hard if not impossible to trust anyone...which would make things more difficult in the future.  As he developed his species' ability to sense impending disasters, he began actively seeking out the places where they were bound to happen in an attempt to warn those who would be affected.  Some, mostly the more open-minded beings he spoke to, listened to him and avoided destruction.  Most, however, reacted in the same way as all the others and drove him out only to face the very disaster Alexander had tried to prevent.  Unable to find any sort of real acceptance in the world, Alexander became quite violent for a time and preyed upon those weaker than him.  Occasionally he would work with other violent or criminal personalities for large objectives, but at the end of a single mission he always went his own way.  Still, certain organizations maintained him as one they would contact from time to time to assist in certain matters.  This served him quite well, until after a great deal of travel the young male found himself in the Kroze region.

Despite his lack of training, he'd managed to gain some skill in hand to hand combat over the years purely through trial and error and as such he was able to become something of a bandit harassing those along the roads and taking whatever he saw fit to.  Of course, one fateful day, he met a certain Grandmaster of the Order along the road and attempted what he had many times before only to fail in quite a spectacular manner.  Expecting to meet his end, Alexander waited for the final blow to come but it never did.  Instead, this Grandmaster brought the now thoroughly battered Absol deep into the forest and ultimately to the Golden Tower where he found several things he had not before.  Most importantly to him were the Compassion from others and the Peace throughout it.  Originally an agreement was reached that he would stay until he had recovered and then be released on the condition that he not return to his wicked ways...but when the day came for him to leave he was hesitant.  Ultimately, he asked if he could stay and became a trainee seeking a twofold goal: to atone for his past misdeeds and to find peace within himself.

Gender: Female
Personality: Akua is quite brash and eccentric to the public eye, but despite the image she puts fourth on the outside Akua is a seething pot of rage. Luckily so shes not one of those brooding types that lashes out at others because of her hate but Akua is usually very distant from others. The masters sense the swelling fury inside her and have requested Akua take classes with the Path of Spirit to try and help her find the calm inner self. All under the pretense and some truth that the class will make her stronger. Akua's natural swelling hatred has attracted Misdreavus and other lesser ghost pokemon to her whether its to feed on her immense sadness/hate or with said emotions they think shes one of them. Though this may seem an annoyance to her she welcomes it wholeheartedly as their presence allows Akua limited access to the pokemon graveyard, where shes visits her parents every day before academics begin.

Eating good food and meeting small cuddly pokemon are some of the few things she enjoys doing, besides getting stronger that is. Eating good food gives her fond memories of her mothers cooking and she used to have a toy plushy Oshawot as a young-ling which she still has.
History: Akua was born in the confines of the temple, her parents were moderate level ninja and she was expected to fill their shoes and become great ninja along side them. That is what was expected, until Mobius betrayed the temple and in their attempt to stop him he killed Akua's parents. This has made her a rebel among the students and a constant pain as Akua breaks the rules in her search for the power she needs to beat Mobius and take revenge. Despite her rebel nature Akua has become quite the ninja, she is the top of the class.

Character Name: Lukas

Pokemon Species: Aron (subject to change)

Gender: Male

Personality: (About 5+ lines will suffice.)

History: Lukas always knew he was superior to his peers, and in some respects, his family. He was born into a relatively stupid tribe, where, when not gathering food, the inhabitants passed times by smacking their heads together. Lukas, on the other hand, found that if he simply jumped over his bullies when they charged him, it had the same result as slamming his head against them, but with slightly less effort and much more safety. But instead of recognizing his cleverness, they found Aron to be weak and useless, and kicked him out of the cave. He wandered around hungry for quite a while in a forest where he could find no iron or metal to consume. His armor casing was not growing, sinc he had no minerals to supply it with it. He survived on berries, and his body was growing, but his shell wasn't, causing cracking and breaking in his armor. He knew soon that if he didn't find any metal soon, he would be left vulnerable to the forces from the outside, which was very dangerous. That was, until he met Sabrina, a Snorunt wandering the snow capped tundra that Lukas was struggling in. The Sabrina realized the problem, and traveled up a mountain that Lukas could not scale to roll some ore down the hill. Sabrina told him her story, and the two of them bonded incredibly quickly. They survived in the forest for a long time, the two of them helping each other with their needs, and eventually they stumbled upon a large Golden Tower. They both had heard about the legend of the Pokejutsu, but never believed it, until that moment. They realized that this was Arceus smiling upon them. They quickly enlisted to learn under the masters.
“I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH”

Username: Thar

Character Name: Gale

Pokemon Species: Grimer

Gender: Male

Personality: Gale is particularly dense, especially under the circumstances of a "winning" streak. An ego is an understatement when he wins over an "opponent", for which he considers just someone else in his way. As a specialist in chemicals that harm other people as well as nature, his devious nature has caused discomfort in many people who have been unfortunate to work alongside him, let alone his tendency to prank his own allies. Despite his inability to have others trust him, he prefers to work alongside others for the thrill of impressing them with his stealthy ways of taking down enemies. Gale alone, however, has the personality of an arrogant chubby guy who doesn't give a sh*t from anyone about his appearance, though part of him refuses to let an insult go unpunished, but his lack of physicality begs to differ.

History: Gale was born and raised in a swampy area in the Southern Deep Ancient Forest where poisonous chemicals were often disposed of. As a premature being, he adapted to the toxic atmosphere and grew tolerant of his surroundings, later becoming addicted to the toxic chemical that lingered in the swampy waters of his surroundings. As he grew up, his addiction began to settle as he began to experience the bliss of consuming non-toxic elements amongst the outside world that was not the place where he was raised. However, his addiction to toxic chemicals was not completely gone. Before he reached an age of sanity and rationality, he still had a drive to consume whatever chemicals he let eyes on. If so much as a can of Repel dropped from someone's bag, he did not hesitate to pick it up and spray it in his mouth. This addiction was the bane of his existence, but also his calling, as the organization of the Pokeninjas was brought to his attention as he directed himself down the path of Poison Mastery. With this mastery, his dream of watching projectiles covered in his own poison penetrate others and watching them suffer was enough to make him join a group of his own.
“[acronym='Can I set something on fire now?']I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH”[/acronym]

Username: Simdoggy

Character Name: Ayano

Pokemon Species: Vulpix

Gender: Female
Ayano is rather impatient and easily excitable, not being particularly good at sitting down and staying quiet, and often easily distracted.

Ayano was born and raised by her mother, a particularly beautiful Ninetails, and lived her early life in the Hoenn Region around Mt Pyre.

Long ago, when Unova was a land of tradition and honor the great Samurai and their Samurai Pokemon were the most revered, and sometimes reviled of defenders in the land, working under the Shoguns they did their bidding without question whether or not it was in their code of morality.

Okay, time for the Reaper Role-Play Reviews. Btw, I've added an Ability section to the app, so just add those to your apps as well.
In the case of Vash, I would like it if you could elaborate on his Personality a bit more, due to the change in app the wording used for the Personality. A rewrite would be preferable I think.

He's fine to me, though I have opened up the Path of Might to Normal-Types, so if you want to change Nobuo to that do tell me, otherwise accepted

Not much to say here, though could you mention what region Gale grew up in. Also, Poison Mastery is more the Path of Nature rather than the Path of the Trickster.

I rather like her, since it's just so classic seeing pyromaniac Fire types. I'm sure we'll see a lot of amusement as the hyper excitable Ayano fails stealth classes. I don't see much issue here, so she's good to go. Accepted!

Interesting backstory there, something I could definitely work with. However, if it was that long ago, it most likely would have been a combined force of Human and Pokemon Ninja, rather than just the Pokemon Ninja who wouldn't bother themselves with Human matters unless it involved Pokemon in any way. But yeah, during this time period it would be the combined Human and Pokemon Ninja. Just make this change and Ken should be gewd to go.
Okay, those two look fine. (I just mentioned that Nobuo's Path could be Might since I think it benefits him more than the Majority did.) Also, mind telling me what their Abilities are? I would assume that Nobu's is Immunity, as he survived the Seviper attack, while his brother fell due to Poison Boost as an ability.

I totally understand ^^

And the Abilities have been put up on the apps: Vash - Steadfast, Nobuo - Immunity

Okay, Kenichiro is good to go, though if you want an actual quote from him do say so. Also Thar, a word.
Ahhh, yeah, see... the residents of the Southern Deep are not very fond of humans entering their domain, like, at all. Most of them would be killed before they could even perform any waste dumping. And lord knows why the residents of Gallis City would dispose of chemicals on the other side of the island. I think it would be best if Gale maybe hailed from another region, like from Saffron City in Kanto or from the Fuego Ironworks in Sinnoh. Somewhere where it's likely for him to have congealed together.
Also because it's irking me, I've changed Rule 9
133.png

"I can't decide if pain or fear is more torturous."

Username: [acronym='...did you really have to ask? Just look to the left and slight up from here.']~Renegade~[/acronym]

Personal Information:

Character Name: [acronym='Answers to a variety of names: Genesis, Three, Gen, Experiment 03 (you probably shouldn't mention that last one)']Genesis-03[/acronym]

Pokemon Species: Eevee (Genetically altered)

Gender: Female
Genesis is exceedingly cynical.

Genesis was born in a laboratory, grown in a test tube; she never knew what it was like to have parents.

Combat Information:

Ability:  [acronym='This is a genetically manufactured ability that is unique to Genesis, allowing her to shift at will between the different evolutionary stages. When she evolves, she adopts different movesets. Unfortunately, her stats are less than they would normally be if she permanently evolved into that form. ']Evolutionary Shift[/acronym]

Pokejutsu School: Path of the Majority

Hold Item: Genesis has a type of dog tag around her neck that has her name, Genesis-03, labeled on it. She can't bring herself to get rid of it, despite the fact it only carries bad memories.
While normally I would say no to that sort of Ability, I wouldn't call it impossible, if the Eevee from the manga was any sign. Plus it could simply be an improvement on the Adaptability Ability already inherent to the Eevee line. Plus, I could have a lot of fun with that kind of backstory. So accepted.
Also, I have been updating the Pokejutsu Bank, and will add some low level Jutsus the day before the RP starts.
“Some day, I'll evolve into a mighty Trevenant and become part of the Ancient Forest once more.”

Username: Simdoggy

Character Name: Suki

Pokemon Species: Phantump

Gender: Female
Suki is fairly calm and quiet, happy to do work if necessary and doesn't tend to worry over things she has no control over.

Suki came into being like most Phantump do, coming into existence as a formerly dead tree stump near the edge of the Southern Deeps after the dead stump was inhabited by the spirits of several children that had died nearby.
