Valkyrus
Fiend/Effect When you take Battle Damage: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. This card gains 600 ATK and DEF for each card in your hand. Once per turn: You can send 1 monster from your hand to the Graveyard to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls with the same Level as the sent monster; take control of that target. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; this card's Level becomes the same as that target's, until the End Phase. Trag needs love. Discuss my favorite card and one of the most flexible and splashable monster cards in the game and share stories about how it has saved your ass >winning with a 4800 ATK Trag >taking control of your opponent's boss monster >disrupting your opponent's OTK's >copying levels for a Synchro/Xyz you could really use
Blake
It's bad and has been bad for a while It's not splashable, not really versatile or flexible It's just a relic of an age past
Philemon
It is a tragedy this card doesn't get more love.
Maeriberii Haan
Tragically, mine was accidentally blown away into the streets by a sudden gust of wind last Monday. It's a relic of the past though, like Black said.
Syncopation
To me,this card is better than Gorz. Gorz Special Summon himself when your basically losing, then either gives you a token (yay) or some burn damage (which in most cases, will only be below 1000), and it is a 2700 beatstick to boot. While that's all good and all Trag SS himself when a monster makes so much of a scratch you, Big Eyes your opponent, and can change his level (basically) how ever he chooses. Not really a contest if you ask me.... but that all this card really has going for it these days...
evilfusion
This card can become better than Gorz, but more often, it's worse than Gorz. While easier to Summon, due to not requiring an empty Field when you take damage, it's dependant on the cards in your hand to be either an offensive threat or a wall. However, its effects are excellent and can be useful in a larger variety of situations. I remember using this often to great effect to bring out Neo Galaxy-Eyes and win Duels. But the more support that Galaxies got, the less they want to use a card like Tragoedia. Trag just doesn't have synergy with the Deck theme, and the Deck tends to eat your resources too fast to make Tragoedia reliable. Gorz isn't even useful for the Deck because it only helps when you're losing. And Galaxies don't want a card just for the event that they're doing sucky. They want cards that'll reduce the frequency that they do sucky.
Not-so-Radiant Arin
Incredibly clunky to use and it doesn't have that same "oomph" as Gorz.
Toffee.
Ideally, you would want to steal an Opponent's Level 4, and then instantly Rank 4 with it.'Cept leaving monsters out(Especially those with Levels), without any sort of protection/etc, is no longer a valid thing.
