I can consider myself to be Crushed' date=' in the uncool way. As some of you people know, I have a crush on a girl in my class, and I've sent her the poem that has been up here. Well, I met her yesterday. And as always, she completely ignored me. Not a single response.

OK. I just have to say something... that is really sad. Writing poems to a person who you like. All your time, your inspiration... all of your heart...... Gone.

To Umbra: I say... do what I do! Just swallow your nervousness, quit thinking, and simply walk up to the girl and talk to her. It's hard, I know... but all you need to do is get over that first little bump, say that first sentence after greeting her, and it'll get rolling real easily.

Hey, if that doesn't work, and she still ignores you or gives you attitude... maybe she isn't that great.

If you show a girl you have the courage to talk to her and get to know her and try to start a friendship or relationship, she'll like that. If not... she simply isn't worth the trouble.

Trust me, I've dealt with this lots of times... there's a lot of girls out there, and each one is different. You may have your heart set on a particular girl, but there's always going to be another that wil take your heart just as easily.

And Poems, artwork, all that stuff... it's a real nice gesture, but nothing works better than personally talking to a girl and letting her know you like her.

To Konthestuffedbear: Get her number. Don't leave without getting her number. If her boyfriend is going to be THAT guy, you need to get her away from him.

Guys... we're, honestly, a lame gender. Sure, I know this doesn't apply to all of you guys, but there are those out there in the world who will use a girl for what they want. Hormones take control, and they either don't know it or they don't care. I've been in the situation of not thinking and letting things go too far. I was almost a father because of it. That was a very unpleasant experience, and has ruined a certain activity for me since then.

Unless both people are prepared for that, they shouldn't risk the act. If you suspect this guy--possessive guy, as you say--is trying to get her to do things with him... get her the heck away from him. That's only asking for trouble. I know what people are like--it might turn out hard to get her to see, but you can't give up.

You've gotta help her before it's too late.

Haha.. I know you're probably already thinking all of this. But I'm just emphasizing the facts. Help her now before you lose contact with her.

*looks at post* Wow... I typed that much...?

I will give her my number at he party, I'm sure of that...
Also, her BF is rich. I've seen him at school, showing off his PSP, flashy cell phone and his Zune MP3 whatever. reinforces my beliefs that he is possessive, needing to show his friends how much bullcrap he's got. And I was gonna take that other guy's advice (sry for forgetting your name), and giving my friends a hand-drawn picture. It might've freaked her out a little though...

I drew this the day I learned about my friends and her BF's... uh, possibly 1st unpleasantness. I tried giving it to her but I thought it would be too creepy (not the picture, but what it represents.)

Anyway, on friday at the party, i'm gonna trade phone numbers with her, and then ask what kind of music she lies. I'm gonna reccommend this...

"Yeah, if you like soft music, listen to this song... It's one of my favorites... In Flames - Come Clarity. When you're done with that, take a look at this. In flames - Take This Life."

The first is a mellow song. The 2nd song is almost all screaming, filled with lyrics that might make her think twice.

Lol my post is even longer than shadowferret's.

Last night... my status went from Crushed to Boyfriend.

Let me explain. Last night, we had a "kickoff" party at school for all of the 9th-graders and some of the teachers. Everything was great; some friends of mine even played Nothing Else Matters on electric guitar/drums. Then, as the formal part of the evening had ended and the "real party" started, a girl which have been in my class since 5th grade walked up to me. We talked for a while, and it pretty much worked out. Note however, that this is not the same girl that all the poems are about, but I guess I never had a shot at her anyway. Now, back to this other girl. My girlfriend... well, she obviously has some feelings for me, and I really like her, too. We have so much in common.

2 months ago, I was at school, and this girl asked me out, and I responded with no. So she attacked me with a pencil...She didn't stab me with it, but rather caused some minor lacerations by swiping it at me. So I was suspended, because I was supposedly the "Instigator", and she's expelled for causing me pain by using a pencil...

There was one girl I liked last year, and she was in all my classes. I got along with her well, but I didn't start to really like her near the end of the year. All of friends go to my school, but she goes somewhere else. I saw her one day, and all her friends told her to give me a hug. She was too shy, so I gave her a hug. I haven't seen her since, but I think about her almost every day. I really hope she comes to my school next year.

The Girl That You Wrote the poems to?

Not her, another girl that I actually like and is not just a childhood crush. (The one that the poems were for has been in my class since 1st grade) I think that this relationship would work out better than with my crush.
