So she wouldn't know him even if she saw/heard him, right? Idea. Why don't you pretend you're through with him - tell her so, even. Then, under the guise of a new internet nickname, he can start talking to you as some boy you know personally. Then, while you're talking to this "new: boy, you can tell your mom that he'd be interested in saying hello, and you could hand her the phone. Thus, she starts talking to him, gets to know him, and when she's comfortable with him and likes him, you can break the news to her that it was the original guy the whole time. Kinda awkward for him to "want" to talk to your mom, so you could use an excuse like "Mom, I need to step away from the phone for a minute, can you keep him occupied?
