Jinzo Returns

Apart from being a decent beater, Kiganjou/Giganticastle isn't a very good Lv9 Synchro. I wanted something that would be good, but not as generally good as Trishula, but would still be a very viable option against quite a few meta decks today. I hope this fulfils the post. I present to you:

Jinzo - Emperor

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Trap cards cannot be activated. Negate the effects of all Trap cards. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points; target 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls: Destroy it. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, target 1 Set card on the field; reveal it, then if it a Trap card: destroy it. (If it is not a Trap Card, return it face-down.)

ATK/ 2800 DEF/ 1800

This is the last and best upgrade of Jinzo, the ultimate machine (a Synchro monster)! Against decks like Geargia, HAT, Evilswarm, and general backrow-heavy decks, etc. it is probably one of the best counters possible. It is very stoppable by Black Horn and Solemn, though, especially that Black Horn which has become such a pain in the arse recently.

Considering the fact that its summon could still be negated, and it has 1800 DEF, i don't think it's too OP.

Either way it's relatively easier to set-up (tuner + non-tuner) in comparison to Jinzo + Eradicator Epidemic Virus (which requires 4 cards). I see you limited the eradication effect to one turn. Nevertheless I think it's a step back from Jinzo since he at least allowed you to play your own Trap Cards (under certain conditions), this one is just a remodeled generic Jinzo + virus wipe on summon.

OCG Suggestion:

"When this card is Synchro Summoned; check your opponent's hand, all Spell/Trap Cards they control, and all cards they draw until the next End Phase, and destroy all Trap Cards (This card must be face-up on the field to activate and resolve this effect). Trap Cards cannot be activated. Negate the effects of all Trap Cards."

If i ever thought about this card i would have given it another (and a bit more balanced) effect -  a monster version of once-per-turn Night Beam limited to traps (i really like that card). Since the continuous effects already locks all traps, you could might as well destroy them or just get a free look at what other is in your opponent's back row, so you can prepare.

This card is actually really overpowered. It would be played like a Cold Wave + Rescue Cat into Hyunlei thing, since it will destroy your opponent's set Traps without the opponent being able to chain them. Not only that, but its also generic and not that difficult to summon. It takes almost all aspects of bad design and puts them all into one card (Virus-esque effect, mass destruction, blanket negation).

To balance the card out, I would remove the virus part of the effect, so it only destroys cards when its Summoned. That way it won't become a potentially mega plus-machine and won't say "you can't play Yugioh" quite as much. Its a Level 9 Synchro, so you're probably going to be giving up quite a bit to summon it, so it needs to be powerful, but not broken obviously.

Also, no idea what Crossroad meant when he said 1800 DEF was a balancing factor. You're never going to summon this in Defense Position, Book of Moon is Limited and Maestroke has 1800 ATK.

Thinking about it, making it 1700 rather than 1800 DEF might actually help balance it slightly since Maestroke can then get round it as well as 101, though that isn't all that relevant.

Be careful when you say "next End Phase". Because it also means "the End Phase of the same turn you Summoned this card", the card's virus effect only lasts for a single turn. Not as potent, is it?

I meant it to be for just 1 turn.

Thank you for the comment, I made it like MST... may change it to an effect that only affects Traps though.

I balanced it now a bit more, though it still may be a little OP. I don't think 1800/1700 will make a difference because Maestroke isn't even played any more, though it will make it less vulnerable to BoM (a card which is being played less and less anyway... so I don't think the DEF would change anything unless it was 2100+).
