Apoqliphoth
Normal Trap
You can only activate 1 "Apoqliphoth" per turn.
①: Add up to 3 face-up "Qliphoth" Pendulum Monsters from your Extra Deck to your hand.

EDIT: Increased and healed the image slightly to get a better read on the furigana. They are in fact Qliphoth cards, the furigana on both reads クリフォート.

This means that yes, they ARE in fact searchable by Tool.

"This would likely make Cairn/Egrystal the beast, but we need more on that side to be sure. He could just be an allegory for humanity losing its way in its vices. He was the greatest hero of the war, the main character after Sombres and Kerykeion and possibly Roach... yet he fell this far."

I said this earlier today, but it appears to be correct.

In the art of Saqliphoth/Sacrifice, we see Orbs flying away fro ma dead body to the tree of life; The Gem-Knights that were fused into Cairngorgon/Diamond, who is the corpse they are abandoning. They then get to the tree and apparently take the forms of Qliphoths, as Qliphoth Tool is shown in the center of the tree in another art.

Now, the Jewish mythos that this archetype is named after - Qliphoth - represents the vices that keep you away from God. The fact that Cairngorgon gave birth to the evil that is Shaddolls as well as apparently FEEDING Qliphoths, probably through tool, makes me think that Cairn IS an allegory for humanity losing its way in its vices.

Just wondering, but who's the monster in the art of Saqliphoth? Looks like a Gem-Knight going to Naturia Sacred Tree or something.
In Qliphothtress, it looks like Killer's killing Yang Zings.

But that Equip Spell is amazing. You can literally summon the boss monster in your second turn. Search and search and tribute. Bam.

That first trap is called Qliphoth Fortran.

....

(Fortran is a programming language, but still...)

Either way... Qliphs have 2 RotAs is hilarious. Scary, but also hilarious.

I don't understand where the TLs are getting "Fortran" from the name. It's clearly the same kanji used to denote booting your hard disk. I feel like the TLs are being special snowflakes again.
