·Toot
I was playing against some Qliphoths and began wondering about how this would affect them. It was pretty funny to use back when it was limited. How do you think it would fare in the game now?
Trebuchet MS
tfw you play this turn 1 and they can't tool or set scales. Then again, this would interfere with any Pendulum-based shenanigans if the scales haven't been set yet. In Qlips, it'll be akin to how GBs used Cold Wave back then - game becomes hard. goddamnit names are a pain
I seriously wonder if having this at one is so bad. I am probably just am missing something but...it basically stops battle phase shenanigans and continues to give a player with an already loaded field an advantage (i may not have worded that right ) . I mean it does say at the start unlike Shocky. I wouldn't mind having this at one atm. EDIT : I did miss the prevention against setting, which changes things a bit. newhat
It protects you from way more than a single card should, and starts unblockable OTKs. Other legal cards do too, but require some coordination to set up.
Zauls
This card is far too unhealthy for the game and shouldn't ever come back. Think about getting Cold Waved the turn your opponent JD nukes and OTKs you, or when they summon 2 Mythics into Heliopolis and blow you up then follow up with a Dracossack. Its actually ridiculously scary and Kuribandit makes it all the more easy to access. To be fair, all these examples are of cards/plays that shouldn't exist anyway, but they do, so Cold Wave can stay @0.

I mean hey Qliphoths, Shaddolls, Judgement Dragon, Constellar, Artifacts etc. The list goes far beyond those 5, this game is unhealthy. the meta is crazy. Nobody has patience anymore, it's about getting all your key cards to the field the first turn, or maniac-ly raping the opponent in unconventional methods. It's about making a deck that can deal with absolutely anything, put your opponent in a definite corner and whoever does this first wins. ridiculous. I mean, like is it really solve-able? even if they do clean up the unhealthy cards, suddenly more will pop out.
