Althemia
When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) from their hand or Extra Deck: Shuffle that monster(s) into the Deck, then you lose 1000 LP for each monster shuffled by this effect.+ Cracks established Pendulum Extra Decks+ Can be searched via Myrmeleo+ Fattens opponent's deck again+ Good 1 for 1 removal+ An out to Shaddoll Fusions when they're summoned- Can cost 2000+ in instances to put away your opponent's monsters- Can be dead when drawn too late.Mainly just bringing it up as a reference point for Qliphort, seeing as how this lets you put all of their stuff back in the deck and Myrmeleo is a multiple purpose tool by this point. (Level 4 for stuff like Tellar to make Delta with, EARTH so Shaddoll can make Shekhinaga with her, etc)Thoughts? Dunno if it is in the OCG since I've rarely kept up with it, but it could probably take the place of Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare post-DUEA
Azuh
But the price is so steep! 1000 LP per monster is just so hard to work with
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
We don't have enough legit lifepoints restoration (for your self, upstart goblin does not count) in metadecks to make this worth it.
Expelsword
What if I'm Pendulum Summoning more monsters than you have Life Points to stop, or are willing to spend? The cost gets too big too quickly for Pendulums, I think. As for a sort of new Solemn Warning, 1000 is definitely a payable cost. It crushes stuff like JD, DAD, and BLS that would otherwise allow your opponent to be down all game and throw their hand on the board for victory (Though I have to admit, sometimes it can be fun to do), in addition to Synchros and Xyz you don't want in play. That could be a rhethorical question pointing out a flaw, or a legit question. I will assume the latter and state that, like with Soul Charge, as it's not a "cost" (nor is it damage), your LP can become 0 from using this. I meant that it's not always going to be an option.
Wizarus
It had so much potential. I blame the Pendulum mechanic being broken more than this being bad.
Expelsword
It had so much potential. I blame the Pendulum mechanic being broken more than this being bad. Pendulum was specifically engineered to be superior to all other forms of summoning. The attitude of Arc V confirms this.

I figured you were probably saying that, but decided to cover all bases by mentioning that you could activate it in such a situation, but you'd die when it resolves. Sleepy
A big flaw of this card, is that from what I understand, you have no choice but to affect all monsters Summoned at that given time rather than "up to". So if you have less than 5000 Life Points and your opponent decides to go for the 5 monster Pendulum Summon (extreme example I know) then you simply cannot afford to activate this card at all. Your opponent outmatched your ability to take the toll. Soul Charge doesn't have that issue, you can always use it so long as you have at least over 1000 Life. EDIT: Well, I suppose what I just said is covered at the OP by "when drawn too late". The deck can be seriously aggressive and the mirror match will also be paying a lot, plus there's how from what I've seen, they are able to just put down beatsticks through simple Normal Summons and get grinded into getting Pendulum ammo as they search more cards, so IDK... the idea of using it is interesting, but it does look like it can be outplayed and be viable depending on where and when it is used..... werewolfjedi
overall, the card design is good, but the price to play it can be damming. i'd say try at 2 in your deck to figure it out, and maybe if konami gives us some decent lp gain cards outside of the absurd combos like necroface soul absorb and fountain in the sky fairy recruiting kamikazes, we could play this card a bit more safely.
