Asterr likes Pendulums, Daibakaze plz. I'm sure thats a horn, but it almost looks like #PompadourLyfe.

3 cards in and they look pretty legit (Dat trap card tho). Bouncing isn't really my preference, but its pretty effective.

Even if he's not a bishie, he needs to look fabulous #PompadourLyfe

Funny that you'll need to Tribute Summon Daibakaze from what we've seen so far so the Counter Trap can be used.

All those bouncing tho. And I thought only mermaids and spirits bounces this hard.

They don't even have big-*shot*

What I'm most scared about is the rampant Divine Wind of the Mist Valley abuse they'll have, especially since they have Tenki going for them. And, that gets EVEN worse if they have cards that can successfully bounce cards you control. These guys might be able to net advantage even better than DDs.

Too bad Kamaitachi can't Special Summon Daibakaze. They're kind of like Spirits, similar in how they return to the hand in the End Phase. Divine Wind of the Mist Valley shenanigans? Trap is really solid, it's like an Infernity Barrier, and Kamaitachi looks like a 1-card combo. Excited to see their Pendulum Cards that can Pendulum Summon Daibakaze~

I'm liking the Yousenjuu archetype. Forcing the cards back to your hand at the end of the turn if you summon it a certain way is an interesting gimmick that also protects them from cards on your opponents turn.

Kamaitachi is a reusable extra summon, and you can reuse his bounce effect every time he gets put on the field. His stats might not be much to look at, but due to the bounce effect I don't see that as a Problem.

Daibakaze has a nice 3000 atk, but since his scale is 7 and his level is 10 it is likely to see a scale 11 monster. Then unless you normal summon him he is a reusable 1-2 card bounce that can't be negated.

Yousenjuu no Higi is nice protection from everything if you only have yousenjuu monsters. It being a counter trap makes it even better.

The problem I see with these guys is the whole leave the field open problem they seem to have at the moment. But the moment these guys hit the TCG I'm already planning to build them even if they aren't competitive just because of how interesting the flavor of creatures of the wind continually disappearing into thin air once they are done with their jobs is (at least that's how I view it).

Hadn't thought of using Divine wind of the Mist Valley with these guys until I read this thread, but that just makes these guys seem even more amazing. Hadn't thought of Tenki either, but since Kamaitachi is a beast-warrior it makes sense to use it since it's available and with all the bouncing it seems they'll do it could be easily reused.

So the Level 4 gets Tenki support, they all bounce to trigger Divine Wind, and they get a Counter that stops pretty much anything. Looks like the archetype will start strong.

What I don't like is their pseudo-Spirit clause of bouncing themselves of the hand, because instead of actually making them Spirits, it is like they are setting Spirits apart, just like how they did to Unions with the pseudo-Unions (ZWs, Superheavy armors, and to a lesser extent Inzektors).

Well all spirits always return to the hand these guys only return to the hand when summoned a specific way. Normal summon for kamaitachi or special summon for Daibakaze.

I wonder if this archetype would be able to use Begone, Knave! since they go back to the hand anyway? It'll hurt your opponent more than you, too. And they might have some stuff for when the player controls no monsters, since right now, it's being implied they're similar to Spirits.

I just noticed that Daikabaze laughs at your opponent sitting on Qliphort Killer.

It laughs at Shaddolls, too, because it sends them back to the Extra. |D
And you could literally summon this guy over and over and over for ultimate bounces.

Now, for rulings, wouldn't this mean that if you Pendulum Summon Daikabaze with other monsters, all of the other monsters have a guaranteed Pendulum Summon that can't be negated? I find that pretty cool.

Yes, your opponent cannot warning the entire Pendulum Summon which ensures near enough all of your monsters are safe and your Pendulums will continue being an infinite resource.

This is my favourite archetype of the new ones by far, I love their artstyle and I think they're just great even now. Synergy with Tenki and Divine Wind really helps.
