JustAnotherDuelist
Drawing into it Turn 1 is terrible, and is really situational overall, but top decking this is just so amazing.

Blake
It isn't even worth it in Sylvans. If you're stacking this with Charity, you're giving up plays for the turn in exchange for one power play the next that can be planned for.

Neutrality Man
Honestly, if you want to go into C107 in Sylvans that bad, you'd be better off running RUM - Quick Chaos and overlaying 2 8s into Tachyon.
Sunn O)))
This card is good because if you draw it outside your Draw Phase you can use it to summon Number
JustAnotherDuelist
Or you could play this in Zombies, cause, you know, Plaguespreader. Doesn't change the fact that this card is sacky and overall bad design. This card is good because if you draw it outside your Draw Phase you can use it to summon Number 99 Just use Argent instead for double Hope Dragon (fun tip of the day)
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I play Rank-Up. Rank-Ups are my jam. I consider myself to have one of the better (thought they only get so good) rank 4-based builds. I hate The Seventh One. Decks that include card draw to improve consistency whiff on this card more often than not, making it nothing more than fodder for some effect or a fake trap. Yes, Sylvan Charity can save you from a whiffed TSO, but then you are effectively turn-locked, unable to use card draw effects (like the triple upstart goblin I seem to recall) or even the archetype's standard excavation strategies. But let's assume you can get this off. Effectively speaking, there are three options: C101, C104, and C107. C101 wants to be ranked up into off of an LBF or similar, turning your utility/searcher xyz into removal, or getting a double removal when ranking up off of 101. C104's immediate effect is MST. You must be proud. Although having a functional C104 on board is incredible, you will only be able to use the effect once, and when limited that heavily it is easily played around. C107 is sick. I will admit that it is a silly powerful card. Unfortunately, its effect is SS1, so it can still get curbstomped by the likes of Bottomless, Compulsory, and TT. Even so, if you are already running a heavy Rank 8 build and are ALREADY running c107 with something good, like Argent, then knock yourself out. I won't chastise you for running 1-of a bad card. Even with the argument that it can be used for Number 99, there is an easy counterargument. Do you know what ELSE can be discarded to summon 99? A GOOD RUM. We have access to three of them, so don't waste your time with this one. /rant

Toffee.
Masq and Dark Knight, honestly, are the only good plays with this thing, IMO. Specifically the later, since occasionally you see people running 2 101s, so it's not like letting one of them go for this card would be all that bad. Regardless, this card is still scrubby as shit. It's cool, yes, but scrubby nonetheless.
evilfusion
I love The Seventh One, but it's not nearly as good as I'd like it to be in any Deck that isn't already obsessive with the Over-Hundred Numbers and Rank-Ups. My Gogogo Zombie Deck runs a ton of Rank-Ups, and drawing The Seventh One can be godly and often wins the Duel. The Seventh One really should only be used in a Deck that does more searching than drawing. This prevents you from drawing it by a card effect. Things like Heraldic Beasts and Gogogo Zombies seem to pull this off the most, but those Decks don't really NEED The Seventh One because they already spam Rank 4s to the point where they can theoretically run Limited Barian's Force without losing anything. I admit RUM- The Seventh One is ridiculously sacky...but it's also ridiculously fun. Thankfully, its sackiness means it'll never really be competitively viable on a large scale, so it'll just stay as a fun little card.
