~British Soul~
Beast-Warrior/Effect If this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 "Hermit Youkai" monster from your hand, except "Hermit Youkai Kamamitachi". When another "Hermit Youkai" monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 "Hermit Youkai" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Hermit Youkai Kamamitachi". You can only use this effect of "Hermit Youkai Kamamitachi" once per turn. During the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned this turn: Return it to the hand. discuss? Rodrigo
Reminds me of Bear. I don't know the entire archetype, but at first glance, it looks pretty nice.
Maeriberii Haan
First of all, he's pretty cute. Now, on the card itself. Finally a good card that could somewhat tie the archetype together, though it still has quite the issues atm. Pretty nice, though I can only wonder why this can also have a field-wide Bear effect when the Spirit Beast Tamer one only has the Castor effect. Northern Sage
? Hm, it's also essentially a free Tribute Summon…
Maeriberii Haan
Now we wait for the inevitable 1600 ATK Kamanitachi.
玄魔の王
There goes Konami, inserting random word puns where they don't belong again. *CinemaSins Ding Noise* Also, this effect can stack.
Pchi
... and it really was a boy. Guess I'll have to write a ton of apology letters now. OT: Quite good monster, I must admit. He'll definitely help raise the consistency of the theme. Between this, Shrine and Tenki, the Deck already has enough search power to carry out its plays as fast as possible. Though I wonder when we're going to have any news on other Pendulum Monsters.
newhat
That is a lot of weak points on a searcher. On the plus side it can search several times per turn if you land enough attacks.
Darj
Pretty nice, though I can only wonder why this can also have a field-wide Bear effect when the Spirit Beast Tamer one only has the Castor effect. I would say Konami wants this archetype to be better, or more competitive, than Spirit Beasts. Spirit Beasts with their effects and Contact Fusion mechanic are interesting but really, considering the cards that have been leaked so far, they have little means for generating advantage. I think they would need a strong/unfair card at the level of "Madolche Tiaramisu" to be relevant in the metagame. Anyways, it's interesting to see another level 4 Youkai Hermit that helps with multiple Summons. With this, Kamaitachi, Tensu and Divine Wind it looks like the archetype will have really high swarming capabilities. I wonder if "Level4 spam" variants of the deck will be better than the Pendulum variants; but if somehow the archetype manages to consistently combine both, things may get crazy. newhat
I don't think so. HOPT. Well then, this is just incredibly unreliable.
