You can banish 1 "Ninjitsu Art" card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Ninja" monster from your Graveyard. You can Tribute this card and 1 other "Ninja" monster; Special Summon 1 "Ninja Beast" monster from your Deck  whose Level is less than or equal to the combined Levels of the Tributed monster(s). You can only use 1 "Legendary Ninja Jiraiya" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by the effect of a "Ninja" monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 card on the Field; destroy it, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Was looking at cards in the Vanguard Wiki, saw Stealth Rogue of Summoning, Jiraiya and Stealth Beast, Gigantoad. Decided to make some Ninja support using their art. Changed their names a bit, because reasons. Might add more cards later and stuff.

They look nice and balanced and jiriya supports ninja's well, we dont have enough recycling in ninja's....

Art looks cool too.

This should definitely be in the pop-culture section though..... we all know that jiriya is in naruto and summons big frogs.....

I assume you haven't heard of The Tale of Jiraiya then: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiraiya

It's easy to assume that this should be Pop Culture, given how prominent Jiraiya is shown in Naruto, but that's not who the TC based him off [from what I know]

For most intents/purposes, this card can banish used Ninjitsu Arts to SS another ninja from the Graveyard; then go into the beasts. (Don't recall if they have any use for recycling their Traps though)

Gigantoad can pop a card when it's SSed and then burn your opponent significantly. It's a little short of common boss monsters stat-wise, but it can just destroy them outright when it needs to.

(I don't suppose you'll be doing the other two though; and yes, there are actual stories of them. Take any pre-conceived ideas that the three of them belong in Pop Culture out of your minds)

Looks really nice! It should read "or lower "Ninja" monster" on Jiraiya. Otherwise, yeah it's perfectly fine.

Anything specific you wish to add on this?

Anything specific you wish to add on this?

Truthfully not really. I mean, I guess i could say it's a bit boring? Nothing really groundbreaking or that interesting about them. I mean, sure they're well done and could very well be yugioh cards in a real meta. But there's nothing really out of the ordinary about them, other than how good visually they are (by the way, how did you do that?). I responded because I figured it's better to let someone know that they did a good job rather than just being silent when there's nothing to criticize them with (other than the OCG error). I've noticed that generally the good cards don't get a lot of responses unless they're done by a popular board member, so I figured I would give this a response at least ackowledging that they did a good job, rather than have them think the silence meant that nobody cared or saw.

But yes, if there is one specific thing I want to mention about them, it's how good visually they are. I've noticed that in all of Ein Sof's cards. I should've mentioned that in my original post.

Jiraiya is really good. Searchable by ROTA, its Attribute goes well in DARK or Chaos Ninja variants, and with its first effect it has sinergy with both Hanzo and Upstart Golden:

- Special Summon Hanzo from the grave and trigger its second effect.

- Discard a Ninjistu Trap with Golden to Special Summon Jiraiya from the deck, then banish the discarded Ninjitsu Trap with Jiraiya to revive a Ninja.

I can't say the same of the Ninja Beast: I don't think it is a good idea to run a high-Level monster that comes with the risk of dead drawing it, and can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a single monster who needs a bit of set-up to do so. Its effect is nice, but in my opinion not worth of being run. Perhaps it would help if it could be Summoned by Ninjistu Traps and its type was changed into Sea Serpent or Beast, even if they don't fit as well as Aqua-type, for Transformation plays.

Finally, this is just a flavor suggestion, but apparently Ninjas that have a name (e.g. Hanzo, Sasuke) are known as "Ninja Grandmasters", so just to stick with flavor, you could rename Jiraiya as "Ninja Grandmaster Jiraiya".
