Brown-Eyes Stun Dragon

Just a little thing I thought up. Tell me what you think!

I personally think it's completely mediocre, but wouldn't really be worth the trouble of Summoning it.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (From your hand) by tributing 1 Level 8 monster you control and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can target 1 card on the field: That target cannot activate its effect(s) until the End Phase. When a monster declares an attack and a Trap card is activated: You can negate that card's effect(s), and if you do, destroy it. Each of the effects of "Brown-Eyes Stun Dragon" can only be activated once per turn, during either player's turn.

So a very easy to get out monster (especially in Hieratics) that permanently negates monster effects and gets to choose a new target Once per Turn?  Plus it can stop traps?

The permanent effect negation is too much, and honestly I think it was just an OCG error.  As you have it worded, the targeted monster can never activate its effects unless it is the End Phase.  It should be worded as such:

You can target 1 card on the field: That target cannot activate its effect(s) until the End Phase of this turn

But all in all, this is still pretty freaking strong, very much so when you consider that most decks that could run this (Hieratics, Photon-Galaxy, Gimmick Puppets, etc.) are decks that usually run very little backrow to speed them up, and so said decks can lose very badly against Backrow.dek's like Burning Abyss and HATrix.  I would say that it might be a tad to easy to bring out.  Maybe add some sort of other cost?  Other than that and the correction above I think it's a great card.

Edit:  I'm a dumb dumb.  While, IMO, your OCG was a bit off, I was wrong in thinking the effect lasted indefinitely.  I still think the change needs to be made, but I just wanted to clarify that.

The Silence effect is neat. It stops your opponent's Ignition Effects and some telegraphed backrow like Fire Formations. It's probably not worth the Level 8 Tribute it takes to Summon, maybe Dreary Doll.

You called?

Next time, just use the report button + we'll deal with it.

But in all seriousness, drosen, you need to mention something about the card's design in question. Hopefully you didn't forget that you've already gotten a +4 for breaking the AC.

Anyway, outside of Hieratics or whatever Deck can churn Level 8s easily, the summoning cost isn't worth it.

But neutering and/or negating stuff is probably worth the cost otherwise, and more or less can stop backrow from triggering at inopportune times.

That being said though, doesn't offer too much synergy to the Decks in question.
