(This card is also still a Trap Card.)I remember, like, everyone hyped these right away and I saw them played quite effectively for like the maybe two weeks these were out..... And then just fells off the face of the planet. I mean, they have decent stats and can literally be any Type/Attribute you want to fill any role/specific role/etc you can think of. So.... What happened? Did the fact these being Traps end up being such a turnoff or what? O,oDiscuss.
Trebuchet MS
While they could become nearly any monster for the purpose of filling in any Type/Attribute condition, the problem comes in trying to recur them, since they weren't monsters anymore once they've hit the Graveyard. I could still see a Uria deck using these to have better access to Type/Attribute-restrictive R4s.
Bringerofcake
I changed around my Macro Trap Monster deck to accomodate these, since they give the deck all sorts of Masked HERO bosses and can go into all sorts of disruptive Xyz like Zerophine. They're cool and I'd like to try them out more. EDIT: I just realized these two also can go for The First Dragon, and Shapesister can get Metaphys Horus Dragon. I need to look at my trap monsters again.
Azuh
It would've been cool if you could modify their levels as well actually
newhat
It would've been cool if you could modify their levels as well actually assuming it has a cost assuming you don't just declare it A Trap version of Gagaga Magician would be quite a playmaker. The problem with these two: Any given Deck would want to focus on only 1 Type/Attribute for a specific set of Xyzes, and in that case why not just run monsters with that Type/Attribute? CLG Klavier
I tried them in a shitty build with stuff like Mask of Darkness to reuse them...it wasn't bad per se, just not much you could do without having 2 of those. But once you did, you could make Laggia and whatnot, so it was pretty good.
